On this evening on the Wine Route, the aperitif becomes the supreme metaphor: time stands still, expanding into an eternal present that surprises the soul.
My Aperol Spritz is not a simple orange concoction, but an archetypal allegory of inner twilight: bitter and bittersweet in symphony, an idea of sunshine dissolved in the waters of delight. The bubbles are rising dreamlike atoms, ephemeral messengers of desire.
The colleague who opted for a Campari Spritz chose a clear chromatic texture, a carmine red that evokes both deception and promise. Each sip is a distilled enigma: it is bitter, it is bold, it is relentless law. A subterranean reminder of the absence that lives in the present.
The third, with the Ichnusa, captured the primordial, the vital. It was more than a beer: it was a geological legacy, a litany of soil and ancient footsteps. Every sip was a telluric call, a barbaric requiem for island and identity.
My girlfriend, sipping the Moscow Mule, transformed the copper of the glass into a mirror of the universe. The ginger beer became an incandescent spirit, the mint a fragment of stinging green truth, an incessant question: who are we, really, if not a reflection of light and ash?
The service was diaphanous and prompt: waiter-absences barely floating, like ideas whispered in the air. The quality of the content and the context was impeccable: ingredients peremptory, carefully crafted, but devoid of pretension.
The atmosphere seemed constructed around an absolute question: are we enjoying the drinks, or are they enjoying our attention? The opening of the glass was an opening of the self.
In short: we have returned to sophisticated nothingness, to the elegant ecstasy of objectivity. Bars, spirits, lights—everything silently interacted with the essence.
And we'll return, perhaps because we never really left.

Muy buen vino y gente muy agradable. Aprendimos mucho sobre el origen de los vinos y nos lo pasamos muy bien probándolo con buena comida de lado. Nos lo pasamos genial:)

A magical evening! Wandering around the ever-beautiful Lecce in the company of a special friend, we stumbled upon this very special little place. Those places you immediately recognize as having soul. Greeted with great warmth and friendliness, we ate a fantastic cacio e pepe and, with expert advice, drank a spritz and, above all, a white... a Fiano... (the wine list is excellent) that immediately transported us to another dimension. A place for palates that seek refinement and style in simplicity... and style is everything... we'll see you again.
