Don't expect a fancy restaurant. This is a rustic place immersed in the Roman countryside! Home cooking in a familiar and welcoming environment! The dishes are plentiful, but above all good. Everything homemade! The prices are more than fair. If the road takes you to these parts it is worth stopping for lunch

If you are looking for a restaurant where you can feel at home, La Sterpara is the right place. This homemade trattoria welcomes its guests with a family atmosphere and genuine dishes, prepared with passion and quality ingredients. The real protagonist of the menu is undoubtedly the grilled meat, cooked to perfection, succulent and rich in flavour, an unmissable experience for lovers of good food. But the other dishes, from the generous first courses to the tasty side dishes, also tell the story of tradition with authenticity. Friendly service, generous portions and a more than honest quality-price ratio make La Sterpa a must for those who want to enjoy real home cooking. Highly recommended!

Such a special restaurant, with a family management that makes you feel at home is difficult to find... and I found it! The environment is simple and practical, typical of a rural country restaurant, slightly outside the town centre, near the Valmontone motorway exit, therefore well connected, surrounded by greenery in the countryside, very quiet. The food taken care of by the expert hands of Saviana, the owner, takes its consistency and goodness, from the mountain appetizers, to the homemade pasta made by them, up to the mixed grill of grilled meat... with side dishes of local vegetables, all of a particular taste... BUT excellent. For those who love home cooking I highly recommend it. It's a place worth visiting...indeed not to be missed. Well done!!!!

01/08/2025: Warm and welcoming atmosphere, fantastic owners, dishes served in an exemplary and refined manner. Excellent and beautifully cooked fish, good wine list with interesting labels. Very friendly staff, very good service. A truly pleasant experience, our friends have already returned and continued to have a great time, we will be back soon.

27/08/2025: The pool is very nice, but there are some areas that could be improved: - I would make it mandatory for girls to wear swimming caps: tying their hair back isn't enough to ensure hygiene. - I would ban children in diapers from swimming because no one checks whether they're wearing the proper diapers... yesterday, for example, there was even a mother who threw her baby's soaked and dirty diaper on the floor by the pool!! Swim diapers are designed to hold the baby in place better and don't get soaked... although unfortunately, some spillages do happen... It's not at all hygienic, considering there are so many diaper-wearing infants in this pool... - There needs to be more control over groups of kids who enter the pool alone, and more rules because they often run between the loungers, throw balls everywhere, and disrupt the tranquility of the pool, and then trample on the grass, entering the water with their feet covered in grass and dirt! The staff is friendly and helpful, and the restaurant is excellent!
27/08/2025: The pool is beautiful, as is the poolside restaurant. The weight room and instructors are excellent, and the facility is well-managed.
