We chose this restaurant, appreciating it for its genuine cuisine since the times when the owner ran it in Torano Nuovo, now in Sant'Omero. We like it for its simple cuisine, inspired by the Abruzzo tradition, which offers local delicacies without frills, with particular attention to the well-being of the diner (we are what we eat). The seasonings and salt are dosed with balance. We find it ideal for a lunch break during work, thanks to freshly prepared dishes and a friendly environment, perfect for breaking up the daily routine. The combination of traditional dishes and a welcoming atmosphere makes it a point of reference to try, with modest prices that allow even daily attendance. We highly recommend this restaurant and applause goes to the "master" who keeps us healthy, maintaining a varied and delicious cuisine. Thanks so much! Oh, I forgot! I have been with food connoisseurs who travel a lot and often find themselves at lunch breaks in various places and trattorias for quick lunch breaks and they have done nothing but ask for the recipes to obtain a traditional and special culinary result, typical of the Abruzzo tradition. All local products cooked with the typical attention of a bygone era. Cute and nice place. Nice and friendly server, first time trying La Carbonara and was very good, good wine and delicious dessert. We both together spent 55€
