Excellent location, pleasant place in the heart of the historic center.

Authentic Piedmontese trattoria. Service a bit slow (perhaps due to the Sunday evening crowds). Homemade ravioli are fantastic. The breaded cutlet is a bit greasy and not crispy. The rabbit with mustard sauce is excellent. The quality/price ratio is definitely above average.

Found this place while strolling through the narrow alley. I'd passed it many times but never noticed it because the actual entrance is in an alley. We booked for dinner. We went in and the table we booked wasn't ready because we had the option of inside or outside. We opted for the open-air one, which despite facing the street and the train tracks is tucked away in a small, very charming and intimate courtyard. The seafood appetizer was a bit sterile but tasty. The hot fish soup was DELICIOUS! The rabbit was good but too spicy, covering up the gamey flavor. In any case, you could tell there was someone passionate behind the dishes. The owner was very nice in his manners but also a bit restrained, I don't understand why. His voice and firmness, you have a nice place! But maybe it was just an off day. The only downside, I'm sorry to say, is the lack of service, very timid. I assume the guy is either new or not in the business at all, disoriented as if he'd just stumbled upon it by chance, but he was very sweet anyway. Have more confidence in yourself, raise your voice and head held high, because it's a fortune to work in this village, I say this as a former restaurateur... if it weren't for the fact that I have a life here, I would reply to the ad posted :).
