Belforte

11/06/2025: We reserved dinner at Belforte months in advance. Our table was on the lower back balcony of this fort just above the waves smashing against the rocks below. We had a beautiful view of the sunset. The couple next to us was from New Zealand and were friends with the Chef. As the Kiwi couple received special attention from the Chef, we did as well by proxy. I had the Belforte baked fish and my wife had the noodles with lobster. Excellent. The highly recommended dessert we shared came with typically rich Italian ice cream on a plate as the Chef poured the strawberries fried in bourbon and brown sugar from the frying pan over the ice cream. What a beautiful experience not to be missed.
