La segreta mentana In Mentana

I had never been there and it was a pleasant discovery. The place is located in the historic center of Monterotondo, it is very characteristic and lends itself well to candlelight dinners (especially the basement). All types of meat are divine and also the appetizers with tartare (the one in the photo with mushrooms, almonds and berries is excellent).

Very nice environment, really a nice place. Excellent food, limited menu with a lot of choice for meats. Trust the staff's advice, really very prepared!

After various recommendations among lovers of good meat, it was La secret's turn, they spoke well to me about this restaurant, I started following it on Instagram and from there it was clear that they know what they're doing when it comes to meat, a visit couldn't be missed. I found the starters to be fabulous to say the least, I would have liked to try them all, but since there were only two of us the choice fell on tasting the cheeses and tasting the tartare and carpaccio to try as many things as possible, and leave room for the meat, everything was truly delicious. For the second course we asked for advice and were brought two different pieces, a Black Angus cuberoll and a Uruguay cuberoll, tender and tasty, both very good. To conclude we had two desserts which closed the dinner in style, they were absolutely no less than the other courses. Fair prices for what you eat. Well done, I'll be back without a doubt.

A steakhouse located in a charming medieval village, the atmosphere is unique, although it is easy to get lost if you don't know the area well. Once we arrived, we were greeted with great kindness by the girls of the place, all very smiling and helpful. We started with a mixture of crudi and patanegra, which were particularly tasty. But the real highlight of the evening was the steak, truly spectacular, cooked to perfection and full of flavour. It was a great experience, and we will definitely be back.

First time in this restaurant in the historic center of Mentana, very beautiful and characteristic but well-kept location. Excellent and quality mixed starter. We then asked for ''help'' from the girl who showed us various types of meat and different cuts based on our tastes and I must say two very good choices, I had only one request which was that the cooking of the meat was medium/well done and I must say that it is excellent, very soft despite the advanced cooking, tasty very very good, same thing as my partner's. To conclude we wanted to taste the desserts, which were also well presented. Superlative chesscake, exceptional tiramisu as a fan of mascarpone cream, I must say truly the best desserts I have ever tasted. Price in line with menu/location/service We will definitely be back to try other dishes

Non economica, ma che spettacolo! Carne di tutti i gusti... non male anche i primi.

If there were 6 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ they would deserve them all!!! Exceptional food accompanied by a location worthy of a 5⭐️ luxury and seasoned with the kindness and attention of the dining room staff. If you want advice, let them guide you on a tasteful journey. All the guys were exceptional and we felt truly pampered Alessandra accompanied us throughout the dinner, making us feel like important customers HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!!

Tutto superlativo,cura nei dettagli sia in cucina sia nella location, personale top,straconsigliato .da provare assolutamente i crpacci e le tartare.

Ambiente curato , buona qualità dei cibi, ottime le carni ma le porzioni ( i taglieri sono semplicemente degli assaggi) sono ridicole ed il prezzo è decisamente sopra la media. Un piatto fuori menù consigliatoci dalla cameriera, piatto con microciotola al centro di spaghetti porcini e tartufo con sovrapprezzo non comunicato al momento dell'ordine, sono costati 24 euro!!! Li abbiamo ordinati in quattro e purtroppo tutti erano assolutamente scotti e insipidi. Il personale è attento e gentile ma i tempi di attesa sono improponibili soprattutto se vi trovate al piano inferiore.
