La Scuderia In Terracina

I'll start by saying that I rarely write reviews unless I've really enjoyed the food, service, and the humanity, and this place is one of those rare gems. It's a family-run restaurant where the owner takes orders using her head and memory, something only those in the trade can afford to do. The service is fast, flawless, the dishes are generous, and the prices are more than fair compared to the Terracina average. The quality of both the meat and fish is second to none. A rare gem that no one mentioned in the reviews is that there is NO cover charge. "We only applied the law, and only customer satisfaction matters to us," the two owners and their son replied with sincere honesty. This is honesty, and this review is intended to be the testimony of three more than satisfied customers. Family-run businesses like this are rare these days and should be preserved. I imagine the difficulties with competition from gourmet restaurants, etc., but full steam ahead. Recommended!!! P.S. The big dog is wonderful, obviously part of the family!

The food is excellent, the ingredients are top-quality, the portions are generous, the kitchen creates extremely unique dishes with zero-mile products, the staff is familiar and friendly, and the prices are fair.
