22/07/2024: I've been going to La Cantina dell'Abbazia for years, sometimes more assiduously, sometimes less, but I have to tell the truth they have never disappointed me.
The quality of the food is always excellent,
the appetizers give way to a prelude of ancient flavours, the first courses are delicious, as our grandparents made them, homemade and tasty, the meat-based second courses are impossible not to try, the homemade desserts are the perfect ending, accompanied by a excellent choice of bitters and liqueurs.
The price is honest, it certainly depends a lot on what you drink or the meat you order, therefore, you decide how much you want to enjoy and then when you eat well the cost is secondary.
In any case, there is one thing that is priceless and which today is a rarity, kindness and hospitality, here they could easily teach many "renowned" restaurateurs from Campania.
13/07/2024: Very particular restaurant where the furnishings and objects really catch the visitor's eye. Excellent location for meat lovers who can choose directly from the large fridge cabinet on display in the restaurant. The best dish, at least for my taste, was the Genoese pasta, excellent sauce compared to that of the olden days... The starters were good but a little something could be improved. A note of thanks to the room manager, if I remember correctly his name is Mario who has always been kind and very professional. Prices are normal. I would recommend parking reserved for guests in order to avoid customers who persistently come and ask you for money even if you have parked your car along the public road.
