We visited La Scaletta in San Giorgio Morgeto and were absolutely thrilled! The atmosphere is welcoming and meticulously crafted, perfect for both a romantic dinner and a family lunch. The dishes are prepared with quality ingredients and tastefully presented—you can taste the chef's passion and expertise. The staff is friendly, helpful, and always attentive to their guests' needs.
A place definitely worth a try: tradition, authenticity, and Calabrian hospitality at its finest!

Excellent food, good service
Unfortunately, the evening was ruined by four or five children who, unsupervised by their parents, ran around the room doing all sorts of things, screaming and running, and this left us unable to relax.

Located high up, besides offering excellent cuisine, you can watch the sunset and enjoy a fantastic view of Stromboli, Panarea, and the rest of the Aeolian Islands.

Traditional food prepared the way it used to be, with truly exceptional stockfish and first courses that deserve nothing but praise. Out of curiosity, we also tried the tagliata, incredibly tender and flavorful, and the pizza for the appetizer, soft and delicious. Kudos to everything: from the meat to the stockfish, to the pizza! Super helpful staff, excellent service, and very fair prices. We'll be back with pleasure.

If you love traditional Calabrian dishes, you've come to the right place. From appetizers rich in cured meats, cheeses, stockfish, and other local delicacies, to first courses like stroncatura (a kind of pasta dish) or tagliolini with porcini mushrooms or scaletta (a kind of pasta dish), all the way up to the excellent meats. The atmosphere is welcoming, as is the entire staff. Prices are absolutely in line with the quality offered.
