First, be careful, it's hidden and you could sneak into the other one. You walk in and it feels like you're entering the Titanic's dining room, a little intimidating. I was worried about my wallet. The food is 10 points! And the price is even better! The service is fantastic, even the water in your glass, and they give you house oil with homemade bread. If you come as a couple, you can eat on the balcony and enjoy the incredible views, not even in the best romantic movie. In the end, we only paid the bill, and they didn't give us our change. BE CAREFUL: in Sicily, they often forget the change. If it happens, it happens ;)

Sadly underwhelmed by the food in this lonely planet recommended spot. In the restaurant there's little atmosphere unless you get one of the sought after private balcony seats. No music and quite sterile. The waiters were fun and friendly but the food was just good.

08/03/2026: If you're looking for authentic Sicilian cuisine, Tavernetta da Rosario is a must-visit in San Giovanni Gemini. The welcome is extraordinary: you immediately feel at home thanks to the courtesy of his son Vincenzo and the entire staff. The food? Superlative. From the generous and authentic appetizers to the top-quality meat, everything is expertly cooked. But the real star is the stigliola. It's simply divine, perfectly cleaned and expertly grilled; worth the trip alone! Very fair prices for a quality and quantity that's hard to find elsewhere. Highly recommended!

06/02/2026: Simply everything was delicious, from the location, to the service, and of course the food! We'll definitely be back!
