A restaurant in the alleys of Genoa. We booked here for a get-together with old friends. The location is definitely dated and a bit dark, and initially I wasn't impressed, but it was packed, so I thought maybe I'd change my mind. The wait was a bit long. Not everyone could choose what we wanted because the chef was alone, so he could only prepare appetizers, then first courses, and finally second courses. My friend, who only ordered one second course, waited for everyone to eat their appetizers and first courses, watching us, and then ate herself. I found this absolutely inconceivable. Now, let's move on to the positives: the lady who served us was very friendly and pleasant, and we forgave her for every delay and shortcoming. All the dishes were good, except for my shellfish, which was overcooked and dry inside (probably reheated). The only downside was that I ordered spaghetti with clams, but they weren't there, and they told me they could only make it with clams (which have a very different price, but I paid the same as clams). I don't think they wouldn't have increased the price of the dish if I'd asked for white truffle instead of black truffle, or fillet instead of steak, but vice versa. That said, the dish was really good, and we didn't complain about it this time either. The quality outweighed the "distraction." Price: Like many places in Genoa, the prices are a bit high. There are some things that could be improved; the dishes are good, the ingredients are good, and it was cooked well. Compliments to the chef.

We stumbled upon this small, out-of-time restaurant by chance. It's true that you have to wait a bit, but it's worth it because the food was very good, and we left feeling satisfied for a reasonable price. We'll definitely be back!

A typical Genoese restaurant, but very cold. The owner was very cold and inhospitable. I gave the food 4 stars because the carbonara was good.

great tavern-style local spot, with a tourist friendly menu that left everyone in my group satisfied. recommended to go with small groups, and to order from the tourist menu. the price-quality ratio is perfect, and the house wine was perfect for the dishes. dont expect especially fast service - the trattoria serves good food at a good price to local customers. but if you want a break from exploring the city and some quality local food, this is an ideal choice.

I had lunch with my wife one week, all based on porcini mushrooms. The tagliatelle with mushrooms and fried mushrooms were excellent. The dishes were standard and the price was fair. I will definitely go back.
