We have been going to dine at this place for a few years now, at least 2 or 3 times a year. Every time for us it's like being at home: All very simple but excellent. All the dishes are delicious and are prepared by the owner, who is the soul of the place. The portions are very very generous and it is impossible to go home hungry. Guaranteed stop whenever we can.

Let me start by saying that we have already decided to return..... a place where the quality, the quantity of food, the attention to the customer is really important..... the whole thing would need to be reviewed. Restaurant run by a family. Father, mother, daughter.. Pay attention to the quantity of food, to give you an idea... all the dishes are more than generous, two portions can be eaten by four... plenty... everything is of good quality!!! Given the quantities, the prices are really affordable.

Not a bit old place from the outside it seems almost closed due to the very soft lights. There were 5 of us, we ate very well, choosing from the seafood menu, but there is also a land menu, excellent food and gigantic quantities, let's say that compared to other restaurants each portion is for 3/4 people, we exchanged something, If you have a weak stomach, order only one thing for 2, we had 2 courses each, octopus with potatoes, spaghetti with seafood, marinated anchovies, mussels marinara, fried fish for 5, plus chips 2 half liter jugs of white, one another quart of white, a bottle of water, a coca cola, and a coffee for 140 euros. We had an extremely hard time eating everything. Run by friendly and nice people. If you look at the environment, walls, furniture, etc. don't come, but dishes, cutlery, tables and kitchen, in short the things that matter are really clean.

Location = almost 1.5 km away from the sea and inconspicuous from the outside, the place seems intended for a predominantly local audience for a business lunch or in any case for a meal away from the confusion and costs of the tourist venues in the old port of Oneglia. Inside it is simple like the trattorias of the past where you feel more at home than in a restaurant. Food = generous doses and very tasty food more inspired by Puglia (the chef's place of origin) than Ligurian; the combination of the two factors makes digestion less easy, especially considering that you eat fish Timing = adequate Price = difficult to spend more than 30 euros including water and house wine Overall, the price/performance ratio is adequate, a possible reference when you want an alternative to the places that are so fashionable today where the only abundant things are the size of the dishes and the bill!

Location = distante dal mare quasi 1,5 km e poco appariscente all'esterno, il locale sembra destinato ad un pubblico prevalentemente locale per un pranzo di lavoro o cmq per un pasto lontano dalla confusione e dai costi  dei locali turistici del porto vecchio di Oneglia. All'interno si presenta semplice come le trattorie di una volta dentro i quali ti senti più in famiglia che al ristorante. Cibo = dosi abbondanti e cibo molto saporito più d'ispirazione pugliese (luogo di provenienza del cuoco) che ligure; la combinazione dei due fattori rende la digestione meno facile soprattutto considerato che si mangia pesce Tempistica = adeguata Prezzo = difficile spendere più di 30 euro compreso acqua e vino della casa Complessivamente adeguato il rapporto prezzo/prestazione, un possibile riferimento quando si desidera una alternativa ai locali così di moda oggi nei quali le uniche cose abbondanti sono la dimensione dei piatti ed il conto!

We eat well. The environment is more for natives than for tourists. Recommended.

Locale molto spartano, ma si mangia veramente bene , in abbondanza e a prezzi modici. Provati gli spaghetti alle vongole veramente buoni con una quantità impressionante di frutti di mare, anche la frittura di calamari e gamberi ci ha molto soddisfatti , per qualità e abbondanza....ci torneremo sicuramente

The place was last renovated in the 50s but it has an Italian atmosphere. Friendly service. Very good food. Such homely Italian home from the heart.
