While in Rome for a few days, we fell in love with this cozy neighborhood pub, far from the tourist crowds. Affordable prices, a varied menu offering delicious snacks and good beers (special mention for the nachos), and a very pleasant welcome and atmosphere!

La Rocka is an Irish-style pub located in the Appio Latino neighborhood.
The location is truly charming: not very large, but meticulously designed and capable of creating an authentic and welcoming atmosphere.
The menu offers a good variety of dishes, while the beer list is smaller but well-selected.
We had a great time in every way.
The service was excellent: the waitress politely apologized for a slight delay on a sandwich (which was excellent), a clear sign of their commitment to quality service and customer service.
The beers are good.
We recommend this pub to anyone looking for a unique experience in a setting reminiscent of the most renowned Irish pubs.

A really cool place and very good beer. The only problem was the guy at the bar, perhaps inexperienced because he was new to the job, we thought. The fact is that the beer was served on tap in a way that would make any master brewer turn in his grave, and the service was, let's say, lacking in attention and friendliness (there was no one there when we walked in, and there was no greeting when the guy arrived...). I don't want to blame the guy, but rather point out to whoever put him behind the bar without proper training that these are essential aspects in a pub!

A must-see historic pub in the heart of central Rome, a gem for connoisseurs! The food and drink are excellent, the owner is attentive, and the staff is top-notch. Valeria is the best waitress! Must try: the nachos.
