La Quercia In Lumarzo

Excellent restaurant, with a wide menu, quick service, and generous portions. The only problem is the noise from the customers' chatter.

This was my second time eating here. The first time I ate in the evening, and despite the limited seating in the dining room, we had to wait forever to be served. I have to say, everything we ordered was good. We returned on a Saturday for lunch, and the restaurant was crowded. This confirmed that eating requires a lot of patience. Between ordering and being seated, we waited 50 minutes, and I have to say, the appetizer was mediocre, except for the creamed cod. The artichokes that accompanied it were a bit disappointing. I won't go into detail about the house appetizer, which was sent back to the sender, except for the cured meats, of course. Another 45 minutes for the first course after we'd finished the appetizer. It was unnerving. I won't be returning.

My wife and I, along with our cousins, went to eat at this restaurant on Sunday, and we had a great time; everything was top-notch.

I can honestly say that the food is truly divine!!!! The fresh porcini mushroom risotto was truly exquisite!!! And plentiful!!! The porcini tagliatelle with more mushrooms than pasta...sublime!!! The tartare and tagliata were excellent!!! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!! 10 OUT OF 10!!!

After an adventurous ride by car getting to Lumarzo (incl a short eye-to-eye with a giant boar on the road) we were rewarded with an excellent dinner at La Quercia. We were lucky to be there at the time of porcini mushroom season, many dishes were served with those tasty funghi porcini. Very reasonable prices, excellent food, good wine, nice interior (we were sitting under a tree in the room), attentive service. Happy to be back again

Excellent restaurant with a wide selection. The only downside is that there are no vegetarian appetizers or main courses; at least one or two dishes are worth adding. I'd recommend a few more desserts: panna cotta, crème brulee, cheesecake, meringue pie...
