La Puppola - Ristorante Toscano In Varenna

We went last night for my husband's birthday. My 11-month-old nephew was there too, and they provided a high chair and space for the stroller. The food was excellent and plentiful, and the staff was very kind and helpful. The place is beautiful and unique. We'll definitely be back to try the pasta dishes. Thank you so much to all the staff for making the party a success.

Great food in a welcoming environment

A Tuscan-style restaurant nestled in the Valsassina mountains, an unexpectedly excellent combination. The food is of the highest quality and offers a wide selection, thanks in part to the owner's Tuscan origins, which lend an extra touch of authenticity. The staff is very kind and friendly. Excellent for dates, large dinners, and aperitifs (summer). Highly recommended, despite being a bit isolated from the major towns, but let me tell you, the trip is worth every bite. Reservations are highly recommended. Excellent!

Kindness, courtesy, and friendliness in a rustic setting that makes you feel relaxed and at home. The handmade pasta all'agliona is impressive, the crostoni exceptional... Wonderful Gewürztraminer, superb desserts. We'll definitely be back.

Excellent Tuscan food, with exceptional Florentine steak. The service staff was attentive and available to answer any questions. The fan blades were on, and for lunch on a sunny August day, they weren't adequate to reduce the heat. Perhaps they would be sufficient for dinner. Overall, an excellent rating.
