La Puccia In Bari

We ate panzerotto with pork chop, puccia with octopus and panzerotto with meat. Excellent food, I recommend it.

We went to Puccia around lunchtime on December 28, 2025. We lined up and waited our turn (they write your order number on a piece of paper after you get the receipt). We ordered 10 classic panzerotti (tomato/mozzarella), which were simply fantastic... Very light dough, not greasy, excellent stringy mozzarella... (Be careful to eat them immediately because the filling is hot when you first make them; wait a few minutes...) We ate inside the tiny restaurant, sitting near the entrance, on wooden benches and small raised tables (a makeshift solution). There were five of us adults. The owner is kind and helpful. Low prices for the quality. €2.00 Classic Panzerotto 👍

A well-stocked rotisserie located on a street near Bari's old town square. The panzerotti are excellent and truly tasty. Table service is also available, but only for small groups. Reasonable prices for an overall positive experience.

I visited La Puccia in Bari and had a very positive experience. The place is very popular, with a constant flow of people, a clear sign that the place is well-run and well-received. We had two puccias, one with cured meats and cheeses and the other with parmigiana, both excellent, well-filled, and truly tasty. You can taste the quality of the ingredients and the perfect balance between the bread and the filling. It's worth noting that the price also included a drink, a detail that's not a given and makes the value even better: €7 for the cured meats and cheeses puccia and €8 for the parmigiana. The only small drawback is the limited seating, but that's completely understandable and reasonable for a street food place, designed primarily for quick meals. Special mention goes to the staff, who were always friendly and helpful despite the busy schedule. Davide in particular was very cheerful, quick, and attentive, managing the constant flow of customers with professionalism and kindness. In conclusion, La Puccia is an excellent choice for those who want to eat well, affordably, and enjoy a true Bari street food experience. If I return to Bari, it's definitely a must-visit.
