Highly recommended... The owner is incredibly friendly and the cuisine is traditional Apulian. We stumbled upon this place by chance while wandering the streets of Bari's city center during our September vacation. We were amazed by the delicious panzerotti and the legendary Apulian orecchiette. Now that we're back in Bari for the weekend, dinner last night had to be at La Puccia...

Delicious pancerotti! The best I've had in Bari. Warm and made fresh. Very rich and tasty fillings in several varieties. A very friendly owner who is happy to advise. The place is small, but you can take the pancerotti home and enjoy it romantically about 100 meters away, on a wall overlooking the sea. One guy said there were only two "putas," but this is the third one, and I highly recommend it!

Sublime panzerotto, Puccia with octopus among the best we've ever eaten, fair prices and courteous staff.

A puccia that looks like a piadina. This alone justifies a 3.
