At the top of a hill, the porkeria appears, a simple but characteristic place, airy and unique. We enjoyed an excellent appetizer of sausage and a perfectly cooked 1095-gram tomahawk; a side dish of baked potatoes with gorgonzola and grilled vegetables; a half-liter of the house red wine; a liter of sparkling water; and two coffees. Mr. Mario, I believe, is the kitchen manager. First, he showed us and weighed the tomahawk in front of us and showed us how he was going to cook it. Then, during the meal, he stopped by to ask how it was going, and again at the end. Mario is a friendly character who clearly cares about customer satisfaction. Our compliments also go to the guys who served us: smiling, precise, and courteous.

Excellent place for steak, and the owner is very friendly. Everything else is very standard. The service (aside from one very good girl) was a disaster.

It was our first time there. Very positive experience. The food is excellent, the meat is excellent, the service and the staff are very kind and attentive to the needs of the CUSTOMER. The very friendly owner knows how to recommend excellent dishes.

Excellent quality meat and great attention to the customer. You can perceive the owner's passion and care in selecting the meat. Their specialty (the tomahawk) is a breath of fresh air compared to the usual Florentine one.

birreria alle porta di Rosignano Marittimo con un bel parcheggio. All'interno il locale è carino e le cameriere gentili e disponibili. Il proprietario è venuto al tavolo a spiegarci qualcosa della sua vita e a proposito della sua cucina. Abbiamo assaggiato un paio di piatti da lui proposit, e ci sono piaciuti. Buona e tenera la carne ( un tomahawk ) a mio avviso un pò troppo bruciacchiato in superficie. Conto nella media

02/08/2025: We had lunch, and they offered a small menu. Tortellini were ready-made, We had to pay an extra €10!! Pizza is only available in the evenings, so I wouldn't recommend it for lunch.
27/07/2025: We stopped by late on a Saturday evening. The place was clean, the staff were friendly and helpful, the appetizers were good, but the pizza was hard, unfortunately. I recommend it for fish.

Ristoratne La Vecchia Marina

21/08/2025: We ate at this restaurant one of the evenings we were on vacation. The location was nice and the food was excellent. It was a rainy day, and the same girl who had taken the reservation that morning had confirmed it, telling us that we would be either on the veranda or inside! When we arrived at the reservation time, we immediately noticed a lack of friendliness, with one of the staff being particularly rude to the customers. We were on the veranda, and at a certain point it started pouring with rain. They took all the necessary precautions, but the table still got flooded and we couldn't even finish our meal! After waiting about ten minutes, we asked for more suitable seating since we couldn't eat or have a peaceful evening. The same arrogant waiter, at 8:25 pm, asked us if we still wanted to eat after not even finishing our dish (we had been sitting for about 20 minutes). The rain can't be controlled, and rightfully so. I can't control it, and you, the owner, can't control it, but I think the friendliness of a restaurant is the foundation of the service you provide. It should have been him/her who said, "Do you want to move to a more suitable spot inside?"/"Can I have your dish remade?"—a truly unfriendly and unkind attitude. It's a shame, because the food was truly excellent. This was our experience. That doesn't mean it's a bad restaurant; it's just my personal opinion and the service we received.
17/08/2025: The food was good, the tuna steak was nothing short of fabulous, but it was a shame there was a mix-up when we booked and we only got one first course instead of two.
