La piccola cucina In Alghero

The food was ok, but far from italian good. Pasta was overcooked and the sauce was only on top, not blended with pasta which is a little weird for carbonara. I couldn’t blend it myself since the noodles were sticking together. Otherwise the service was great and the staff was friendly.

Perfect family dinner. I went to this restaurant a few days ago with my family. We ordered two appetizers, two first courses, one second course, and finally dessert (EVERYTHING PERFECT). We ate both the meat and seafood dishes, which were delicious. The kids' menu was also excellent; my son had seconds. Impeccable service, super professional. The price was more than fair. We'll definitely be back soon. Highly recommended. Kudos to all the staff.

Alghero has a new gem: a super cute open kitchen, with an atmosphere that makes you feel right at home. The menu is well-balanced fusion—a mix of Sardinian flavors and modern influences, all made with care and fresh ingredients. The staff? Friendly, smiling, and very attentive! The location… attention to detail everywhere: warm lighting, exposed wood, a corner that looks like it came straight out of a design magazine. If you're looking for a place to eat well without the fuss. PS: You can tell they're passionate about it! The name comes from the small kitchen they once had at the Alghero market, if I'm not mistaken! Highly recommended for my personal tastes.

FANTASTIC experience! I had the shrimp paccheri with lactose-free cheese (very important for me, as I'm intolerant), and they were simply spectacular: with sauce but not at all acidic, flavorful, balanced... one of those dishes you end up regretting because you'd rather eat two more! We then tried the pappardelle with white venison ragù: intense, fragrant, truly ecstatic. A delicate yet flavorful ragù, perfectly cooked and not at all heavy. And finally... lactose-free tiramisu. I swear, I'd NEVER found it anywhere! Finally, a place that also considers those with intolerances without making us give up the best dessert in the world! 😍 And it was delicious, creamy, and perfectly balanced. The service was impeccable: very kind, smiling, and super fast. We only had an hour to spare, and they were very attentive to letting us eat slowly but without making us wait. Highly recommended, I'll definitely be back! 💛

The restaurant's strong point is undoubtedly the quality of its food; the ingredients are fresh and expertly prepared (with a careful selection of wines and spirits). The service is also excellent, with meticulous attention to detail. The only slight drawback is the interior design concept: the arrangement of the tables all against a wall, the urban-rustic atmosphere, and the open-plan kitchen—though not too open—difficult to create the right atmosphere. Top marks, however, for a job well done!

I stumbled upon this place by pure chance. The dishes are excellent, beautifully presented, and plentiful. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly. They also have meat dishes, which I haven't tried, but the fish was a top-notch. Well done guys!

Passing through Alghero on a tourist visit, my husband and I found this little place... very very cute and with attention to detail... clean and the atmosphere is kind and familiar, with full marks... the chef and waiter improvised a little song together while they were serving and... too strong... the atmosphere is top-notch working harmony which is reflected in the taste and preparation of the dishes... everything is excellent... 100% worth trying... congratulations guys!!!
