The staff were friendly and service was prompt. The food was very good. I also enjoyed the wine, even though I'm not a wine connoisseur. Personally, I wasn't too convinced by the quantity, but since I was the only one in the team who thought so, that's probably my problem (I'm used to trattoria-style portions). Overall, recommended.

A well-maintained and welcoming venue. Excellent, beautifully presented food, a well-proportioned tasting menu offering excellent value. The wait staff is very knowledgeable and always ready to recommend excellent wines.

Well, now it feels like I'm back home with family every time. I have a great relationship with all the staff. I eat wonderfully both at lunch and dinner. In the evening, the attention to detail goes beyond all expectations, with quality dishes and truly top-quality ingredients. A special mention for the Sachertorte I had last night: the best I've ever had. Even the look of it wasn't your typical slice. It almost looked like a small mountain ridge with some beola stones on top. In the mouth, it was a true explosion of flavor. Excellent as always...but this time, the cake was out of this world!

23/02/2026: It's 5 star. The food, the ambience, the location. I can say that it wasn't potluck for the one Sunday lunch I had because I have been going there for the last 25 years and I've never had a bad experience. I've seen this restaurant expand and grow and move a generation. They will be celebrating with much pride their 40th anniversary this year. This restaurant is famed for fish dishes but also do offer meat occasionally. Their menu is constantly updated and they offer a superb wine list. Everything is quality. I will never stop going to this restaurant which happens to be my favorite on Lago Maggiore.

03/10/2025: This place has excellent potential. However, I found the service to be very professional ("starred"), but unfortunately, it didn't always succeed. Moving on to the menu, I found the prices very high for the quality offered (obviously, I'm referring to what I ordered) and, above all, the portions were truly small, perhaps not even tasting size. Two main courses, one dessert, two glasses of wine for €100.00. I had already been there a year ago, probably with a different chef, and I had a great time. Not this time, though—a shame!
28/09/2025: Top experience! Michelin-starred cuisine and top-notch service. We thank Giuseppe and Davide for their service. A true treat. On par with the standard of the wellness center where we spent the afternoon. Highly recommended. 5-star superior!
