THE PARKING LOT Arrival. First mission: parking. The parking lot isn't Malpensa Airport, but it's not the dead-end street outside my house either: a space shared with American Graffiti. A sort of car condominium, but I always find my spot in the end. And that, in itself, puts me in a good mood. THE ROOM: LIGHT, AIR, AND STRESS-FREE TABLES I enter and breathe. It's an airy, bright place, with enough tables to avoid ending up eating on your neighbor's knee. Here, the concept of "fast food" doesn't just mean "eating quickly," but also "not staying too long": and so the turnover is natural, a bit like the tides. If you want a seat, don't despair: there's almost always a place to find. THE MENU "La Piadineria" is a chain, and it shows: the layout and menu are replicated like a successful copy-and-paste. But at least the piadina can be customized: regular, whole wheat, and even a few variations that make those who have recently made peace with the scale feel less guilty. A wide selection, even for chronically indecisive palates. SERVICE Here, the story becomes epic. Behind the counter, there's almost always just one person: a human multitasker who darts between the register and the coffee machine with the grace of a caffeinated hummingbird. The result? The line gets longer, people huff and puff, the neurotic ones start their foot-tapping dance. Then, finally, you order, and, surprise, the piadina arrives as fast as lightning. WELCOME: CHRONICLE OF AN ABSENCE FORETOLD Don't expect Hollywood smiles or greetings: here, no one asks "how are you." But it's not rudeness, it's survival. When you work with lines of impatient hungry people, the time for "welcome" evaporates. PRICE AND QUALITY: THE BILL (ALMOST) PAYS OFF Here comes the trickiest part: the price. It's not exactly "fast food" (forget the €5 menu with a drink included). But the quality is there; the piadina is good and easy to digest. CONCLUSION "La Piadineria" is the perfect place for a quick break that won't make you miss the company cafeteria. An experience that balances pragmatism and the poetry of simplicity. Final rating: three stars (with a round of applause for the counter athlete, who deserves a gold medal).

Honestly, I expected a more affordable price from a fast food restaurant. Paying €20 for a piadina, chips, drink and dessert (which I declared cost €1) seems excessive to me. However, it's quite good: for what a piadina can be good. With customization, you can also get exceptional piadinas. The app is embarrassing, though: it bugs every 2 minutes. The atmosphere is excellent, quiet, cool, a relaxing half hour. The service leaves a bit to be desired: there's always only 1 person at the cash register with something important. Ordering from the app would solve the problem, but there's no incentive in this sense and every customer wastes a lot of time at the cash register because they choose what to eat when they're already in front of the clerk.

They are not bad, an average of seven euros per piadina, I don't know if they are the normal cooking times but perhaps the service should be speeded up a bit

Super service. Excellent flatbreads. The staff is very good. I go there often because it's really good. They recommended the roll to me, very good.

The multi-grain dough was recommended to me by the boy with the pigtail.... Really excellent, I recommend it to everyone. One of the few shops that has chips, clean and well organised… highly recommended
