Fantastic, the best campsite we've ever been to. Be warned, the rules regarding quiet hours and siesta are very strict. Even quiet conversations can result in a warning.

Great campsite with everything you need. However, dear Marina team, surely it should be possible to offer different payment options when booking; not everyone has a credit card. It would be really great if you could add that.

Looks great from the outside – but lacks soul inside. Admittedly, we were quite spoiled by Lake Garda, where we had a fantastic campsite. For a side trip to Venice, we thought we'd try out what was supposedly the "best" – a mistake, as it turned out. Even during the online booking process, it said there were only a few spots left in the dog zone. We chose spot 8283 and checked in online. Upon arrival, we were told at the check-in area that no entry was permitted at midday, even though there were only a few vehicles ahead of us. Our identification (including the dog passport) was taken. We received a booklet with rules and the obligatory wristbands – the instructions in which consisted mostly of prohibitions. We drove to our pitch – right in the middle of the space stood a tree. We laboriously parked, leveled the campervan, and then a park ranger approached: "Not enough space to the border." We explained that the tree was the problem – his response: a shrug. We asked for a different spot, and suddenly the one opposite was available. After settling in, we wanted to retrieve our IDs, as we were going to Venice the next day. The walk to reception took 10 minutes. When we asked, we were told, "We don't have them." Why? "We need them for check-in." I explained that everything had already been done online and that I wanted the originals back. Reluctantly, the woman disappeared, only to return after many minutes to make copies. I felt like this was some kind of power play. Never before have our IDs been so stubbornly withheld from us. Further questions, such as about bus connections, were also referred to the information desk – where the service was similarly lackluster. The next morning, we wanted to order a taxi – apparently, that too was too much trouble for reception. The impression: Everything is a hassle. Friendliness? Non-existent. I can only agree with Timo Teutsch's review (April 2025): E-scooters are prohibited – incomprehensible to us. E-bikes are allowed to ride however they like, as are children and scooters, often without brakes or lights. E-scooters? Strictly forbidden, with questionable justification for being banned from the campsite. From 10:00 PM onwards, rangers patrol with flashlights on non-e-bikes. Regarding dogs: Generally okay, but nothing special. The dog beach is very small, and the off-leash area practically ends at the beginning. Off-leash time is not permitted in the advertised "woods." There is a small fenced area – not very appealing. The dog shower: at least it exists, located outside near the washrooms in area 8000. On the positive side: Very clean sanitary facilities – although most are not completely enclosed, but rather covered. Shopping area: Here, too, the staff seemed unenthusiastic. Everything seemed "too much." The supermarket on the campsite is significantly more expensive than the one directly opposite, outside the campsite. The latter is cheaper, friendlier, and more helpful – so: better to shop outside! Conclusion: We left early. Apathy, arrogance, and rudeness have no place on vacation. Even if the campsite boasts being "Europe's largest" and many regular guests seem satisfied, the world is changing. What previous generations considered good may no longer be sufficient today.

We stayed at this campsite in June and rented a small, relatively inexpensive bungalow to save some money. Overall, we were very pleasantly surprised. The campsite is very well-maintained and clearly laid out. The bungalows are well-positioned, providing plenty of privacy, and the view was truly lovely. Within the site, there are several restaurants where you can eat well at reasonable prices, as well as shops for everyday needs. All in all, you simply feel comfortable here. I would definitely recommend this campsite.

We booked a pitch online for 7 days. We were able to see exactly where we were located based on the pitch number and the site plan, all without any extra charge. We thought that was fantastic! Upon arrival, we were pleasantly surprised again. A huge check-in parking lot with plenty of staff – the entire process was done without even getting out of the car. You hand over your booking confirmation, passports, etc., and receive your wristbands and all the necessary documents through your car window. Absolutely fantastic! Our pitch was very centrally located and surprisingly large. No complaints there either. The beach is very clean and spacious. Everything runs quite smoothly. However, the food at the beach cafes is microwaved. We hadn't expected that, considering the price and presentation. It's actually served like that, and you have to remove the lid yourself. Definitely a point deduction for that! Otherwise, we found the Marina app convenient and informative. The food at the resort, on the other hand, is fantastic, as is the ice cream. The pool area is great for the kids and clean. However, there are no restrooms. You have to walk to the nearest sanitary block. That's a bit annoying. The evening entertainment wasn't really to our liking, but tastes vary. The shopping area, on the other hand, is fantastic! Marina di Venezia is definitely worth a visit!

It's no longer the Marina it once was. I frequented it for several years, three weeks in August. My last visit was in 2023. Reluctantly, I'm choosing somewhere else; it's too difficult to book. When reservations opened in 2023, there was already limited availability. Then I discovered that reservations don't open on the same day for everyone, which I don't think is right and has never happened before (I've all passed the campsites on the coast). Today I tried to book, but it was no use. It used to be much better, but obviously this way the site crashes. In any case, the memories of a holiday at the Marina are unforgettable. I don't understand why you need an account to book. I accidentally entered the wrong information due to a typo, which can no longer be corrected, so I can't book even if I wanted to. I say it was so simple, but complicating things is normal.

I have loved this campsite for over 30 years. I can't wait for it to open, and it's only November. If it were open in winter too, there would be so many of us here. You are fantastic, unique, wonderful in everything, really. Think about it, as you might be able to find a solution for the winter too. Really...
