I rented a car in Rome and stopped for lunch on the way to Tuscany! The scenery was beautiful, and the chicken was delicious. It seemed like a lot of local Italians frequented the place.

A wonderful experience, excellent food, and the owner gave us a tour of the entire property, showing us animals and other things. Excellent alcohol on the house.

We went to Perla Verde for lunch during the week. It was a real surprise. The restaurant is on a hill with a beautiful view of the sea. It has the homey, family atmosphere of old-fashioned trattorias. Given the sunny weather and pleasant temperature, we ate lunch outside under a pergola. There are farmyard animals—chickens, a rooster, a black rabbit, and a sweet lamb—roaming freely in a peaceful and tranquil atmosphere. The owner is a special person, very friendly, and makes you feel at home. The food is fresh and authentic, prepared in a truly original way: the delicious chicken is grilled in a wheelbarrow, the sautéed vegetables are delicious, and there's a nice selection of appetizers including bruschetta, beans with pork rind, tripe, and warm cheese. The homemade tiramisu is delicious. It's also worth mentioning the wheelbarrow of liqueurs, presented at the end of the meal by the owner in an original and engaging way. There are lounge chairs overlooking the sea that guests can use to relax and sunbathe after their meal. It was a unique experience that we will definitely repeat!

We were here to celebrate a birthday. It's a wonderful place, the setting is rustic, well-organized, and very quiet, with no pretensions. The view is spectacular, and that alone is worth all the stars; it's very relaxing. The service is sketchy and a bit slow, but if you're not in a hurry and want to spend a relaxing day, it's perfect. The owner walks among the tables and chats very pleasantly. The grilled free-range chicken was really good, and we had the mixed grill recooked. The prices are a bit high. I'll definitely be back and recommend it for a relaxing Sunday.
