I ate well and the people were nice. However, I have one criticism: the grilled vegetables consisted of 3 slices of eggplant and 4 slices of zucchini, not even marinated. All for a whopping €6. So, a piece of advice to customers: do not order this dish. Or, a piece of advice to the restaurant: improve the quality and quantity of this dish, or always offer it for free.

The prices reflect this commitment: For a good dish, you'll pay around €20 per person; we spent around €60 per person – a price that seems justified given the quality and setting. For my starter, I chose stuffed tortellini with fish – very delicate in flavor and a perfect start. The tuna steak as the main course was a real highlight: with a delicious pistachio crust on the outside, tender and juicy on the inside. The portion was generous, almost sumptuous. However, the steak was slightly fatty, which might not be to everyone's taste when it comes to fish in this form. It was served with apricot ice cream – a combination that wasn't quite right for my taste, as it would have been more suited to dessert. Nevertheless, the overall composition was appealing and carefully considered. Conclusion: La Perla is a top address for anyone looking for fine dining on Elba – with a magnificent view, sophisticated service, and exciting cuisine. Minor flaws in the combination of individual ingredients hardly spoil the experience. Anyone willing to invest a little more for quality and atmosphere will definitely get their money's worth here.

I had the pleasure of dining with my wife at the La Perla Beach Restaurant in Procchio, we were particularly impressed by the breathtaking view of the sea that creates a welcoming, relaxing and romantic atmosphere, perfect for a special evening. The service was impeccable, the staff was kind, attentive and always available. Very creative menu and generous portions with a presentation of the dishes an authentic work of art. In particular we tasted scialatielli allo scoglio and fried calamari and shrimp. It was an extraordinary culinary experience, fresh and high quality ingredients, with a simply delicious flavor. Restaurant for "lovers of authentic Italian cuisine."
