I ordered a 4-cheese pizza and a gnocchi with gorgonzola. Both were excellent. The pizza was the best I've had in Italy... crispy dough, tomato sauce and a variety of cheeses. It's a restaurant where Italians go, it's less touristy and the prices are very affordable. It's worth it!

I have been going to this historic pizzeria since I was a child and every time it is like coming home. The pizzas are fantastic, thin and crispy, among the best I have ever eaten. In addition to the pizzas, the trolley with the vegetables of the day (the broccoli are super !!!) and the dishes of the kitchen, both first and second courses, are always an excellent choice. Do not miss the spaghetti with mussels and the cutlet !!! In general, each dish is prepared with fresh and quality ingredients. Congratulations to everyone !!! Highly recommended!

Si leggono le recensioni più disparate, ma occorre chiarire bene che la pizzeria La Perla a Lecce è per i leccesi una istituzione . E si accetta così come è , servizio , colori, umori fanno parte della genuinità dei proprietari. Noi leccesi la frequentiamo per la semplicità , per la qualità della materia prima ( buffet di verdure , spaghetti alle cozze ,frittini ) e per la pizza che non tradisce mai e si digerisce sempre senza se e senza ma . Se dopo 40 anni continua ad essere sempre presa d’assalto un motivo ci sarà …….. Se devo muovere una critica e’ solo per i prezzi che sono troppo bassi per l’esperienza emozionale che si trascorre
