I go against the grain: when I read too much negativity in a review, I dwell on it. I wanted to check it out and took my family there: I ate very well and paid a fair price for a trattoria. I found the place I expected for a trattoria with very good staff, and the owner/chef was the histrionic but polite character I expected. For me, a very positive choice given the quality of the food.

Due to highway traffic on the way back, I decided to stop in Pedaso for lunch. I found this place, where I was treated very well and had spaghetti all'arrabbiata, well-made and plentiful. It was a great experience for me. 👏👏👏👏👏

We went to Italo for lunch. If, like us, you're not looking for a MasterChef dish, his cuisine is perfect for you.
Pasta served in a pan; one portion is enough for two, loaded with fish and sauce.
Every dish we tried was exceptional, including the fried food. A commemorative photo with the (very friendly) chef is a must.

A small, informal, and down-to-earth restaurant with original decor.
The service is friendly, and the wait staff is kind and courteous.
The side dish buffet is a treasure trove of tasty delicacies (a must-try).
The highlight is the seafood entrees (the tagliatelle allo scoglio is exceptional, a must-try), served directly from the pan, in generous portions and laden with seasoning.
The house white wine is also pleasant to drink.
Good value for money.

It's certainly not a very welcoming place, but the staff is friendly and the wine is excellent. Not to mention the spaghetti allo scoglio, delicious. Congratulations!

Delicious, plentiful dishes, excellent value for money. The menu is basic. The atmosphere is simple, friendly, and very welcoming, sometimes a little too much so.
The owner is very friendly and skilled in the kitchen, as is all the staff. The wait staff is professional and very courteous. It's not a stylish place, but a foodish one. You go there to eat well and in good company.

Non aspettatevi un locale lussuoso, con bicchieri e posate cambiati ad ogni portata o un cameriere che versa vino nei vs bicchieri appena si vuotano.
Però si può trovare cortesia, dei piatti semplici,abbondanti e gustosi, dei prezzi equi. Siamo venuti due sere consecutive e siamo rimasti soddisfatti entrambe le volte.
Ottimi i primi piatti, le cozze ed il fritto ; non eccezzionale l' insalata di mare.

Ottimo pranzo a un prezzo molto onesto.
Mangiato benissimo delle ottime chitarrine allo scoglio e un piatto molto abbondante di gratinati.
Locale altamente consigliato per chi cerca un posto genuino con personale molto disponibile. Italo è sempre disponibile a trovare le migliori soluzioni a tavola.
