La Palafitta In Viverone

The staff wasn't exactly friendly. We were given the menu and then told we couldn't order pizza that evening. I have no idea why. I would have preferred to have known this before we sat down.

We went to this place last night. Honestly, we were a little worried about the reviews we'd read, but I have to say it's not bad at all. The pizzas were really good and generously topped... The place is nice and quiet, so it's a pleasant place to spend an evening. It's true that the tables have paper tablecloths that, when arranged in a triangle, cover 90% of the table, but the tables were still clean, so there's nothing to complain about. The only thing keeping me from giving it 5 stars is the staff. They act like robots, lack smiles and courtesy. They weren't rude, but every question was answered in a curt and rushed manner, and every thank you was never answered. Maybe they should do this job with a little more passion and gratitude. Even the lady at the cash register dismissed us with a forced smile and no thanks when we paid. A special mention goes to the idea of bringing lemon hand wipes after dinner. This gesture was greatly appreciated.

Sono cliente da diversi anni a La Palafitta e all'Hotel Royal, della stessa gestione. Personale sempre accogliente e cordiale. Tuttavia, l'esperienza del pranzo odierno merita alcune riflessioni: ho piacevolmente notato un aggiornamento del menù e provato alcune novità come il carpaccio di polipo con salsina al mojto (assolutamente consigliato!), e il fritto di calamari con patatine al forno. Sulla qualità del cibo, come sempre, nulla da dire. Purtroppo il servizio è stato decisamente deludente: pane arrivato su richiesta, il vino (su sollecito) è arrivato al terminale dell'antipasto... E le patate... quando il fritto era freddo a forza di aspettarle. Mi spiace molto, fiduciosa in un miglioramento del servizio!!...

It's the second time in 2 years. Unlike the first time we stayed inside. Given the day. We were fine with a paddle fan nearby. Very good grilled fish at a fair price. The staff is friendly.

Alpine gathering 2025. Beautiful place on the lake. Unfortunately the service was lacking. Especially one waitress was asked several times for napkins. We got up with the napkin still to arrive. Good food, except for the side dish which was bland and tasteless. When asked what was in the dessert no one knew (and if someone was allergic? To some ingredient?)

Super lunch with my husband and our little dog! Beautiful place, right on Lake Viverone, with a view that alone is worth the visit. Friendly and fast service, everyone was very helpful even with the dog. Good and plentiful food, we really enjoyed it. Relaxed atmosphere, ideal for disconnecting a bit. We will happily return!

Perfect evening! By the lake. After 1 week in Italy, this is where we ate the best pizzas and at a very reasonable price compared to all the other restaurants. The service was impeccable. The charming waiters/waitresses! Thank you so much !
