We went in the evening without a reservation. We ordered the Tuscan appetizer and the racket. They were delicious. We shared them among four people to try more dishes. Then we ordered two first courses, one with mushrooms and one with crab meat, both truly delicious. And two second courses: the grilled meat and a mixed fried fish. Both were delicious, but I have to add a special mention for the meat. It was delicious, it melted in your mouth. I highly recommend this restaurant.

We ate on vacation with the family, the waiter was very kind, the pizza was delicious, they found us a table right away even though we hadn't booked, the meat was excellent!! The lady at the cash register was probably the owner, she was super kind!!! Congratulations indeed!

I had mussels as an appetizer and then the seafood carbonara. The flavors were good, but I would recommend using less oil. Unfortunately, I had to leave the mussel sauce out for this reason. As for the service, nothing to complain about: friendly and efficient.

We were there tonight, Saturday 2 August, without booking. We got a table for the time because it was practically all booked, we arrived at 7.20pm.... Fast service, excellent dishes and a nice atmosphere despite the tables being very close to the road but separated by a low wall with trees, we dined outside but the passage of cars was not at all annoying, smiling and courteous staff, parking available, I recommend it 😊

20/08/2025: We had a very good culinary evening at Pizzaria 2001. A seafood platter for starters, fish of the day al forno, insalata mista, and a delicious cake for dessert. We also had good house wine (white) and beer. The ambiance of the restaurant is rather rustic; you sit outside on plastic chairs, which makes the whole experience even more intimate and feels like real Italy. If it weren't our last evening here on Elba, we would come back in a heartbeat! Thank you, it was wonderful! A quick note: they didn't serve pizza during our visit. The owner, Franco, informed us of this at the beginning, but we wanted to eat fish anyway.
