La Nduja In Roma

29/05/2025: After booking, we stopped at lunchtime for a refreshment including a drink and a platter with cheeses and cured meats typical of Calabrian cuisine/culture including crostini with nduja! The owner, Fabio, a man of few words but kind and concrete, proved to be attentive to our needs. The prices are more than affordable. Overall, I recommend this place even if I can confirm or deny the positive impression we have now, only after having had dinner or lunch! For now, recommended!

08/04/2025: Spartan environment located on the edge of a small square in an area little affected by the enormous flow of Roman tourists. A stone's throw from the Umberto I Polyclinic, the Sapienza University and some ministerial bodies, in its simplicity it offers a captivating menu worthy of representing the Calabrian land. There are many specialties from appetizers to desserts. Personally I wanted to experience the Chef's whim, a surprise dish that you don't know what it is unless you order it and the Chef basically cooks whatever is in his head that day. It went quite well for me as I was delivered a plate of penne all'arrabbiata. The sauce is excellent, the pasta overcooks slightly (I prefer it al dente). Honestly, I would recommend it for those who don't have too much sophistication on their mind and like to eat well.
