Particularly good and carefully prepared Piacenza cuisine, very kind and welcoming staff.
And the area is also very beautiful, hilly landscapes of the lower Tidone valley.

For the fried gnocco, it is the best I have eaten in the 5-star Piacenza area, dry and tasty with its cold cuts (too bad there are few). The menu card has no prices, the bottled wine is very expensive at €18, exaggerated.....1 star for the bathrooms outside the restaurant in the cold and without soap and hygiene.

Abundant lunch, homemade cuisine as expected from a trattoria. Second course good but very salty. Negative note, as confirmed by other reviews, total bill just as salty as the latter. Bathroom outside the room, very inconvenient especially if there are disabled people who are forced to leave the premises to be able to go there.

If you want genuine cuisine like your grandmother's you have to eat here.
The highlight for me remains the wild boar, both stewed and with some fantastic tagliatelle, but everything was excellent, including the vegetables from the starter. You can feel the love inside with every bite.
Super generous portions.
Simple but welcoming and well heated room.
To be honest, the only two defects are the extreme proximity of the tables which does not greatly favor privacy and the fact that the bathroom is external; no problem on a sunny day, otherwise in short.
Overall, the quality of the dishes and the courtesy of the staff make it an unmissable stop to enjoy true slow food.
