While strolling through the center of Gallipoli, we stopped for lunch at La Meridiana Café... and what a wonderful discovery! I decided to try the puccia and I must say I was amazed. The bread was simply perfect: crumbly, light, with an authentic flavor, and a blend of the freshest, highest-quality ingredients. Every bite was an explosion of authentic flavors, crafted with meticulous attention to detail. My wife was also thrilled: she ordered the bruschetta, and each one was better than the last. Simple but carefully selected ingredients, crispy bread, and balanced toppings. Truly divine! To finish on a high note, a coffee granita with homemade cream: creamy, intense, and refreshing. A real treat that left us smiling. A welcoming place, with kind and attentive staff. An experience that combines Salento tradition with excellent quality. A must-try. Highly recommended!

I went to this bar for a quick breakfast and I have to say it was a pleasant surprise! The cappuccino was creamy and really good, and the pasticcio (delicious!) went perfectly. The service was also excellent: kind, smiling and fast. I will definitely go back!

03/09/2025: Late afternoon drinks (gin and tonic and beer). Snacks were phased out. Friendly service.
27/08/2025: We waited over an hour and a quarter for a platter of cured meats and some cheeses. The food was good but average. Nothing exceptional. Prices were a bit high for what was on offer.

15/06/2025: Kind of a bar, but not quite — more like a cozy observation deck with cocktails. Draft beer? Just a couple of options, but they do the job. Cocktails, though — plenty, and done right. Perfect spot to sit back, watch the promenade, make up stories about strangers, and pretend you’re a local. The staff? Great people — friendly, easygoing, and always up for a quick chat, even if you don’t speak the same language.
15/06/2025: I have been to this bar in Otranto and I have to say that the location is simply perfect: an incredible view directly on the sea, it is difficult to ask for better to enjoy a moment of relaxation. I had a coffee, really excellent, and the service was kind and fast, another plus point. Unfortunately the crepes (I ordered four) disappointed me a bit: the consistency was too soft and they seemed to be made with too much water, little flavor and little character. The menu as a whole also deserves a refresh: few really interesting options and a bit dated in the presentation. Overall, however, the experience was very pleasant, especially thanks to the view and the atmosphere. I will gladly return, hoping for some improvements on the kitchen side. — 4 full stars.
