We sat down at this café without looking at the reviews - and had a really yummy breakfast - try their pucce sandwiches (a local type of bread). The service (Stefano) was very friendly and quick. Assuming from the previous reviews that it used to be very bad - they are def improving now!

I feel good about it. It's been a permanent fixture when I go to Gallipoli for years now. The little girl Ttina is a spectacle for me. Last night I introduced it to my friends and he wanted to do an encore. Now they use pitted olives and there is no longer the risk of breaking teeth. The tables are really small but let's remember that this is a bar. Average prices.

10/09/2024: A scorching day and no other choice than to lay down on a deckchair because the sand was so hot. Prime location for this seaside establishment, nestled on the cliff overlooking Torre dell'orso beach. Rates for 2 sunbeds and a parasol; 60€ on the front line 50€ in 2nd 40€ in 3rd And 30€ afterwards Whatever the choice, the color and temperature of the water force you to stay on this beach as much as possible. Bar prices are reasonable with a few exceptions. Don't wait too long to order food because the kitchen cannot feed all the summer visitors. The music is varied and the sound level does not prevent you from taking a nap.
29/08/2024: Maybe prices slightly above average, but you are still facing one of the most beautiful beaches in Italy. The two sisters. Friendly and helpful staff, clean beach and free showers for guests. Well-stocked bar.

19/08/2024: Excellent sandwich....not to mention the french fries....they are not the usual ones....before leaving, take a crepes, divine dough! Highly recommended
