Consigliatissimo

Walking through Maratea, we came across this charming spot. The shop is beautiful, and the little tables on the street are unique. We were two adults and two girls, and we sat at a table for four. When we went to order, since the girls weren't going to eat the aperitif, they told us to move to a table for two (most of the tables were empty). We tried to explain that there were four of us, but because we couldn't explain properly and didn't argue, we gave in (the situation was so bad that even a girl got up to tell us it was wrong). We had an aperitif, and it was quite decent. But just before we left, a couple came by and, as they ordered a bottle, they sat them at a table for four, the same one they'd gotten us off at, leaving the same number of tables free. The service was pretty awful. I hope they take care of these details next time.

We ate a superb platter at this shop nestled in the alleys of Maratea. The atmosphere was informal. It was wonderful to eat in the alley nestled between old houses. Excellent products. The owners were very nice and welcoming. Highly recommended. P.S. Maratea is beautiful. Christ the Redeemer... breathtaking.

The shop is located in a quiet and charming alleyway in Maratea. It's the perfect place to sample excellent local products, accompanied by a good wine, and to shop for traditional products. The owner is very knowledgeable about all the products he sells, which are of excellent quality; both he and his partner are friendly and very kind. Try the chocolate and fig salami: delicious!

The restaurant is located in the alleys of Maratea, overlooking a charming little square, and offers delicious local products. We went there for lunch and ordered a platter of cold cuts and cheeses. The very kind owner told us where and how he sources his products. We had a great time, and if we're ever in the area again, it'll be a must-stop. 🔝

A truly delightful place, in every sense. The little square where it is located is picturesque and welcoming. The host, Michele, is very accommodating and knowledgeable about all the products he offers. He listed each delicacy with passion and precision, also explaining the different ways to use them. I came here for lunch with my two children, aged 7 and 9, and I must say that they also enjoyed everything, especially the human warmth of this place.

perfect place, more than abundant appetizers (there were 2 of us and they were for 3 or more) excellent and fresh quality, he prepares and cuts them on the spot, for the person writing this, the unpleasant owner is a lie, he is more than nice
