While we were in northern Italy, we found this restaurant on our way. We ordered a vegetarian pizza and even the pasta, they were all delicious. After lunch, I also ordered an iced latte and an Americano from them.

The food wasn't bad, but it wasn't anything special. Up until that day, they were very salty. We ordered: Margherita pizza; gnocchi with tomatoes, buffalo mozzarella, garlic, and olive oil; spaghetti alla carbonara; and tagliatelle al ragù di cervo. For everything, we paid €55.

It's easily visible and accessible from the highway. That's why we stopped here for lunch. It looks a bit dated from the outside. But the service is friendly, and everything is clean. We felt comfortable, and the food was delicious and lovingly prepared (spaghetti aglio olio and vegetarian pizza with freshly squeezed orange juice). Highly recommended. 🥳

23/11/2025: Excellent traditional food in a welcoming atmosphere Bar Centro Fondo proves that sometimes the best places are the simplest and most authentic. We stopped for lunch and had a wonderful meal. The canederli were perfect, the carne salada was exquisite, and the polenta was just like grandma makes it. The atmosphere is homey, the staff is very friendly, and the prices are fair. If you're in Vermiglio and want to experience the authentic flavors of Val di Sole, you can't go wrong.
08/09/2025: We ate sandwiches, first courses, and second courses. The food was delicious, with quality, locally sourced ingredients. A regular stop!

03/09/2025: We were served a nice platter of cured meats and cheeses, along with a tasty first and second course. Prices were average. We were served by a friendly young woman, but it felt like she wasn't a professional. The place has good potential, but it feels like it's lost its identity, attempting to achieve more sophisticated cuisine in a rustic setting. In my opinion, they should focus on showcasing local dishes, without straying too far from the traditional trattoria formula. And then they should work on the hospitality, which needs improvement.
