Excellent value for money. Delicious daily special: squid ink linguini and fish and seafood accompanied by a delicious white wine. I highly recommend it 😋

A wonderful restaurant in a fabulous setting, at the foot of a small church. Everything we ate was delicious, as was the wine. The owner is very friendly. I recommend it.

Very good restaurant we ate mussels and they are the best I have eaten as well as the cheap tomato pasta if you are passing through the area I recommend it

Ristorante La Mandragola is a charming place with a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere. The staff were friendly and professional, and the service was smooth from start to finish. The food was fresh and full of flavor. You can tell they care about quality ingredients and traditional recipes. The wine selection was also very good and matched the food well. It’s a great spot if you’re looking for authentic Italian food without too much fuss. Definitely a place I’d return to and recommend to friends.

Stumble on it by chance. The location is pretty picturesque and quiet. Aperitivi were very good and food was decent. The wine list was promising but we stuck to our spritzes. Staff was helpful despite not being able to communicate in English well. All in all a pleasant experience

18/02/2026: What a shame, really. An excellent culinary offering, featuring all the signature dishes of Ligurian cuisine, was literally thrown away due to the disorganization in the dining room and the resulting biblical waits before being served. I've been to this restaurant several times in the same week because I was staying in Chiavari for personal reasons. Whether it was a busy weekend or a quiet weekday, the common denominator has always been the slow service: a plate of ravioli, a veal cutlet with chips, and a dessert served in an average of an hour and a half. It's a shame, because the price is also highly competitive. The waiter is also smart and fast, but the problem clearly lies between him and the kitchen. I can't explain it any other way. Anyway, I repeat, in case you haven't figured it out, the food is very good.
03/01/2026: Pansoti cedrali are worth the wait, I absolutely recommend trying them
