We had a delicious plate of lard with chestnuts and honey as an appetizer, followed by two polentas, one with venison and the other with carbonada, and a glass of red wine.
Very sharp knives, perfect for cutting excellent pizzas.

On the excellent advice of our hostess, we ate at this restaurant in La Thuile last night.
We thoroughly enjoyed our meal for a very reasonable price.

Very good food! I have to criticize the service because once we entered, we were left standing for at least 10 minutes without anyone asking us anything, with the place half empty, and on top of that, we were even passed by friends of the landlord! The atmosphere is also not bad, but personally, I would limit the number of tables rather than placing them in the middle of the walkways.

Very crowded, small place. The interior definitely needs some updating. The menu is too long, resulting in poorly prepared dishes. The prices are a bit high for the location and quality of the food.

Honestly, this might be one of the best restaurants I’ve ever eaten at. It’s not about overly fancy fine dining — it’s about real, generous, flavorful food at a very reasonable price. If you love eating well, this place is a must.
The beef tagliata was probably the best I’ve ever had, incredibly tender and generously served. The gnocchi covered in cheese were an absolute delight, the truffle tartare entrée was outstanding, and the tiramisu was perfect to finish the meal.
Amazing portions, great quality, fantastic flavors, and surprisingly affordable. I couldn’t recommend it more.
