We went here twice in a row for lunch, it was so delicious! The pasta is truly outstanding and lovingly prepared. The service was also incredibly warm, with very friendly servers. Highly recommended!

A very welcoming restaurant with very kind and friendly staff, especially Aldo, who was able to recommend starters and main courses and delighted us with his warmth.
We ate excellent starters and main courses, prepared with fresh, local ingredients. The pizza is also highly recommended.

In our opinion—and we have many opportunities to compare—this is one of the best restaurants in Italy we've visited over 20 years and dozens of stays. The setting, the friendly staff, and, ultimately, the culinary artistry are worthy of a Michelin star. Tomorrow we're leaving to say goodbye, but we'll remember this place for a long time. We had the most lovely lunch at La Macina today. The restaurant’s location is absolutely idyllic as it is tucked away from the main tourist area (and hence quiet), with a beautiful view. We tried two of the daily specials (burrata with grilled vegetables and Parma ham, and a pasta with amberjack and cherry tomatoes) along with the Spaghetti alla Nerano. Everything was incredibly fresh and pure in flavor. Also very friendly service. Would love to go back already!

The restaurant is an authentic place, made with excellent ingredients and unfussy cuisine. Forget about nouvelle cuisine, large plates and paltry portions made only to give a falsely modern feel to a dish that isn't up to par. Here, you eat with your eyes and your taste buds. It was a pleasant surprise, and I've marked it among the places I'll return to. Keep up the good work and never sell yourself short to image-driven tourism.
