One of the best restaurants I have ever been to. The service, the food, everything was absolutely perfect. It’s a shame I don’t live in Italy, otherwise I would be here every week.

We were welcomed as if they had always known us, friendly and familiar staff, genuine and excellent quality food. Slightly mixed furnishings, outside rustic, inside more modern but overlooking the mountain of San Costanzo surrounded by greenery with a small hint of the sea of ​​Nerano

Bel ristorantino non molto distante da Sant' Agata, sulla strada che porta a Nerano. Fornito di parcheggio interno. Antipasti diversi : ottime le alici fritte ripiene di provola , forse un po' care (5 alici, 15eu). Ma erano fuori menù. Quindi 2 porzioni, 30 eu. Buoni i primi. Ottimi gli gnocchi ripieni di provola, al sugo di melanzane .Veramente squisiti. Spaghetti alla Nerano, nella media, ma non eccezionali. Vino della casa in caraffa. Frittura di gamberi e calamari, leggera e croccante, 19eu. Giudizio positivo , ma prezzi un po' più alti di quanto mi sarei aspettato.

Nice little restaurant not far from Sant'Agata. Provided with internal parking. Different starters: the fried anchovies stuffed with provola are excellent, perhaps a little expensive (5 anchovies, 15eu). So 2 portions, 30 eu. The first ones are good. The gnocchi stuffed with provola cheese and aubergine sauce are excellent. Truly delicious. Spaghetti alla Nerano, average, but not exceptional. House wine in carafe. Fried prawns and calamari, light and crunchy, 19eu. Positive opinion, but prices a little higher than I would have expected.

Oltre al menu ci hanno offerto una vasta scelta di piatti del giorno, prodotti di buona qualità, pesce fresco e ben presentati. Sicuramente ritorneremo anche perché non abbiamo assaggiato il liquore al mirto come i nostri vicini di tavolo 🤷🏻‍♂️

22/07/2024: I've been going to La Cantina dell'Abbazia for years, sometimes more assiduously, sometimes less, but I have to tell the truth they have never disappointed me. The quality of the food is always excellent, the appetizers give way to a prelude of ancient flavours, the first courses are delicious, as our grandparents made them, homemade and tasty, the meat-based second courses are impossible not to try, the homemade desserts are the perfect ending, accompanied by a excellent choice of bitters and liqueurs. The price is honest, it certainly depends a lot on what you drink or the meat you order, therefore, you decide how much you want to enjoy and then when you eat well the cost is secondary. In any case, there is one thing that is priceless and which today is a rarity, kindness and hospitality, here they could easily teach many "renowned" restaurateurs from Campania.
13/07/2024: Very particular restaurant where the furnishings and objects really catch the visitor's eye. Excellent location for meat lovers who can choose directly from the large fridge cabinet on display in the restaurant. The best dish, at least for my taste, was the Genoese pasta, excellent sauce compared to that of the olden days... The starters were good but a little something could be improved. A note of thanks to the room manager, if I remember correctly his name is Mario who has always been kind and very professional. Prices are normal. I would recommend parking reserved for guests in order to avoid customers who persistently come and ask you for money even if you have parked your car along the public road.

28/08/2024: From the owner to the last waiter, a kindness seen in few places, it should be like this in all restaurants but unfortunately it isn't like that, plus the food is excellent and homemade, meat cannelloni just like my mother makes them, Sorrento style gnocchi that melted in the mouth and then not to mention the desserts, all excellent and always made by them, even the pizza is really good and if you are passionate about spirits you will be spoiled for choice, 3 display cases full of high quality bottles of grappa ,whisky and everything you want. 100% recommended, if you pass through Agerola you must make a stop here
27/08/2024: We had dinner in this restaurant during our two-day stay in Agerola. We found very kind staff who welcomed us very well. Both the first courses we ordered (not fish) and the pizza were very good. Their desserts are excellent, especially the hazelnut. Advised
