Courtesy and good-quality food. The starters and desserts are exceptional. Also recommended for those looking for a cool spot. Update: There's now an excellent selection of dry-aged meats in a special refrigerator.

We had lunch at this restaurant with its unique, warm, and inviting atmosphere. The owner puts his heart into it and makes you feel like family right away. Homemade pasta, fresh ingredients that vary with the season. Between courses, delicious house specials await (the roasted porcini mushrooms are out of this world!). Prices are more than fair, and service is prompt! We'll definitely be back!

A very characteristic restaurant nestled in the woods of the Campi di Annibale, serving excellent Roman cuisine, from freshly cooked porchetta to fresh pasta dishes, especially during these periods, featuring fresh porcini mushrooms. For those who love grilled meat, there are excellent cuts of meat with various aging periods. The fireplace is a must, and the price/quality ratio is excellent.

Very nice location with a beautiful garden and children's attractions. Very rude and abrupt service. I ordered an 8 ounce steak, but it barely reached 5 ounces on the bone, and they even cut it themselves (which I didn't ask for, but it was good). My wife's steak was tough and chewy. I definitely wouldn't go back...

We had a great time. The first courses were delicious. The fried cockerels, blackberry jam, and zuppa inglese were excellent. Thank you for your hospitality in this fairytale place.

Pranzare alla La locanda nel bosco è stata una piacevolissima sorpresa; i tavoli all’aperto sotto dei bellissimi castagni offrivano un fresco rifugio dalla calura estiva. Il servizio veloce e attento ci ha permesso di passare una bellissima domenica, godendo di squisiti piatti della tradizione laziale realizzati con cura e con materie prime di ottima qualità

Siamo stati in questo locale insieme ad alcuni amici. Proprietario gentilissimo ed accorto, nonostante avessimo un tavolo all’aperto , non ha permesso ad alcuni avventori di accendere le sigarette nelle vicinanze degli altri commensali. Per il resto , primi di grande impatto e carne eccellente. Ci ritorneremo quanto prima!

Cocchi's Tratto/Pizzeria

06/11/2025: The food was excellent, the meat was incredibly tender, and the portions were generous. The staff was courteous and quick, especially Stefano, a waiter who was truly attentive to every need. The quality/price ratio was excellent!
02/11/2025: A very nice and pleasant place, with a welcoming atmosphere. Unfortunately, the soundproofing is very poor, and on a Saturday evening, the experience wasn't particularly positive: the background noise was quite annoying. The service also seemed a bit chaotic, likely due to the large number of customers. Some drinks arrived incorrectly, and dishes were served at different times. The bruschetta didn't convince me: the bread seemed to have been prepared in advance and, once cooled, was soggy. The toppings, while present, weren't particularly flavorful. The pizzas, on the other hand, are good, as are the fried foods, which are very tasty and well-made. Overall, given the numerous positive reviews and the restaurant's reputation, I expected something more in terms of ambiance, service, and overall quality.
