A very pleasant escape from the Roman heat! We came for lunch to escape the heat of Rome and just for the coolness found, sitting under a giant chestnut tree immersed in a wonderful chestnut grove, it was absolutely worth it. The food? Truly excellent. My tagliata with porcini mushrooms was 10 and praise! I also tasted a simply stratospheric zuppa inglese, prepared in the old way: simple, genuine and delicious. Excellent service, with a very nice and professional Sardinian waiter. The owner was also friendly and helpful. A detail that I particularly appreciated: even if you eat outside, smoking is not allowed in the dining area. A big round of applause to the owner for this choice! Finally, a note of merit for the toilets: clean, tidy and fragrant, which is not a given in a simple and easy-going place, but in this case decidedly better than those of many renowned restaurants. Abundant and quality lunch, excellent service

Let's start from the end, it is NOT expensive. Mouth-watering porchetta, abundance and delicacy of the first courses which encourage a break from any ongoing diet, second courses where the palate applauds for the exquisiteness of the flavours. Courtesy, speed and cleanliness included. Parking is present. We couldn't get the steak. There are several displayed in the cold room. ...next time. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

Abbiamo pranzato in maniera divina in questo piacevolissimo ristorante riscaldato da un bel camino. Ogni portata, ogni assaggio ci ha deliziato, tutto così semplice, così genuino e così gustoso. Quello che ci è piaciuto non è solo la bontà del cibo, la scelta e la freschezza degli ingredienti, ma anche la passione con cui i piatti vengono preparati e offerti, l'amore con cui il patron parlava delle portate che ci faceva assaggiare, un'esperienza che speriamo di ripetere quanto prima..e dulcis in fundo..un conto di incredibile onestà.

Il locale è delizioso e dispone di un parcheggio esterno proprio davanti al locale. I miei complimenti a Roberto (titolare) ed alle persone che lavorano in cucina che dimostrano la professionalità e la passione per il loro lavoro. E' stato tutto impeccabile dal servizio al cibo. Nel complesso ottimo il rapporto qualità/quantità/prezzo. Davvero un'esperienza positiva. Spero di rivederci presto.
