A place that I really recommend. We were there today for lunch. The kindness and friendliness were top notch. Not to mention the excellent food in abundance. We will definitely be back. 😋😋😋

Let me start by saying that 9 times out of 10, my travels are culinary, in search of delicious and characteristic places, and as a reviewer, I'm very critical. Locanda nel bosco, chosen at random from among the many restaurants in Rocca di Papa, deserves 5 out of 5 stars. The food was excellent and plentiful. We ordered a variety of appetizers to enjoy in a rustic, family-friendly atmosphere, and fettuccine with coda alla vaccinara. They were delicious. Furthermore, all the desserts are homemade, so you won't find any cheap, packaged desserts. The friendly and helpful staff immediately puts you at ease as soon as you walk in the door. There's ample private parking in the property's garden, surrounded by a chestnut grove. The quality/price ratio was fair. (€30 per person) I'll be back in late spring. Thanks to all the staff.

We've come to this restaurant several times for family events. The last time was for the Christmas holidays. Always a warm welcome and friendly staff. Excellent appetizers, generous first courses, very good meat, and so were the desserts. Fair prices.

If you want to experience the flavors of the Castelli Romani, you can't miss this excellent restaurant. Everything is delicious, authentic, and local. The price is fair, and the place is truly welcoming and warm.

Rustic, well-decorated atmosphere with a fireplace that creates the perfect atmosphere when it's cold. It was my second time here, and it once again proved to be an excellent restaurant. All three of our first courses were delicious, followed by a mixed grill (for two people), which we shared between three of us and was still plentiful. We finished with a brittle with a raspberry jelly center, which was fantastic. Highly recommended.

Fabulous place at 800 meters above sea level, cool in summer and warm in winter near the fireplace. Everything was good 👍🥂🍾
