Am I dreaming or am I awake? The only flaw of this restaurant is having discovered it on the last day of work. You eat like God, they offer you the abundant entree, the glass of wine that overflows, they offer you the dessert and after eating like a pig, how much do you pay? 22 euros.. I have no words. It's not the first time we have dinner here, we go mainly for the bombette which are of different types, very good tonight and excellent cooking for the breaded chicken strips. Why 3 stars? For an unfortunate situation that I saw from my table: the owner filmed a waitress (who served our table very politely) addressing her with the word "mongoloid" 😳😳 as if it were an insult, in a voice loud enough to be heard by our table; certainly for something that happened previously, I felt ashamed for him. The girl served our table, as I said before, with courtesy and professionalism and asking us several times if everything was to our liking. A) when you rebuke an employee it is always done with respect and not insulting him, also because you can reprimand him for his actions without offending the person; B) it is not done out loud; C) the word mongoloid is really bad to say as an insult; D) this is not how to be an entrepreneur. At the time of the bill, I promised myself to tell the cashier that everything was good except for this behavior, but unfortunately it slipped my mind, I was thinking of something else at that moment, because something else caught my attention. I hope that the review is read, not only by the owner, but also by the girl who was subjected to this recall, and that she is apologised!

Excellent restaurant very close to the center of Taranto. Customer service is quick and very friendly. The vast choice of meat with various cuts typical of the area (bombette) available raises the bar of quality, the grilling finishes with a flourish, giving a pleasant and satisfying experience. I highly recommend!

We went for dinner on a weekday and they treated us wonderfully. The service at the tables was fast and very attentive. We lost Angus beef, lamb and hamburgers for the youth and children. The perfect point of the meat, delicious flavor and a very reasonable price, although we don't go overboard with the drinks and desserts and that always makes the price more affordable.

Good grill with different varieties of dishes

From my personal experience I believe that "La Locanda del macellaio" is absolutely the best grill-rotisserie in Taranto and one of the best in all of Puglia. The meat counter at the entrance speaks for itself, you are spoiled for choice... An infinite variety of bombette flavours, various types of sausages, excellent cuts of meat, you will also find particular types of meat, for true connoisseurs and which you will hardly find elsewhere. The quality of the meat is excellent, the cooking is always perfect. The side dishes are also very good. The restaurant is modern, large, spacious, bright and clean. There is also the possibility of eating outdoors. The environment is informal and quiet, suitable for all age groups. The service is efficient and fast. The manager and all the staff are kind, friendly, helpful, nice. The prices are very honest, the quality-price ratio is excellent. The location is also excellent, right in the center, a few steps from the seafront. It's also pretty easy to find parking. We have been regular customers for years and if you are in Taranto I highly recommend you taste the meat specialties of this excellent rotisserie. Se hai voglia di mangiare carne vieni qui. Se hai voglia di GUSTARTI le bombette vieni qui, veramente riesci a capire i gusti vari che ti propone. Credo che una volta al mese se non di più sarà tappa fissa
