Among the musts to try: the black angus entrecote, the straccetti, simply delicious, the delicious bombette and the fresh fried potatoes, crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside, which are very reminiscent of those of grandmothers. All accompanied by attentive, thoughtful and easy-going service, which makes you feel pampered and at home. The staff is EXCEPTIONAL! And then... pay attention to the Chef's sweets: served at the end of the meal, with limoncello, grappa or whatever you prefer, they are a real legal drug. A meal closure that leaves its mark. I would also add that, when they are open for lunch, you ABSOLUTELY need to try the first courses because they are made to perfection!!!! In short, if you love good food and honest portions, this inn will steal your heart. If you love good wine (like us), you will be spoiled for choice. I had dinner with a group of friends. The place is beautiful and well-kept in every respect, the staff at the tables are friendly and the service is fast, the quality of the food is truly excellent. The choice of various specialties, both for side dishes and for meat, is very wide, there are many types of bowls and various types of sausage, as well as chicken and various types of meat to be sliced ​​on the spot. The discordant note was that, once everyone had ordered what they liked, when the dishes arrived it was not possible to understand whose various bombettes belonged to, after cooking they were almost unrecognizable. Same problem with sausage. So we found ourselves eating a little by eye and a lot by luck what was actually someone else's. Therefore it makes no sense to go to the counter to choose what you want to taste, if everything is mixed up, especially if we are talking about large quantities, it will only create confusion at the table and you will have to make do, it is not fair for those who do not like some ingredients in the preparations, in addition to the fact of being dissatisfied because you wanted to taste that bowl in particular which then ended up in another dish. Probably next time I will opt for a dinner as a couple to avoid all that confusion again and be able to eat what I choose.

First time at La Locanda del Macellaio. Quality experience, from "good morning" to "goodbye". Eight people plus a little girl, all with "demanding" palates, had a really good time. Clean, tidy, spacious, comfortable environment, with attention to detail. Professional and fast service. We mainly ate meat (chosen from the main display case) and side dishes of grilled vegetables, baked potatoes, caramelized onion, salads. The raw material is truly excellent, treated with love and awareness. The meat is cooked perfectly in a wood-fired "stove", which makes all the difference. The prices are very honest, for the overall quality I would dare say "low". Note of applause to the staff, always very important. We will be back soon.
