Had a dinner with friends, nice welcome, very little waiting time, experience to repeat as soon as possible

The place is beautiful and well-kept, but we expected better food (cracked clams that risked breaking a tooth, cacio e pepe broth, and a bitter baba with a tasteless cream). All this was served by an inattentive and poorly trained server.

You eat very well. Fair prices.

A clean, retro-style inn with a quiet atmosphere and plenty of space for any type of event. The staff is very kind, friendly, and attentive. The dishes are plentiful, with high-quality, fresh ingredients and delicious food. It was a fish-based dinner; next time, I'll choose meat. The price is affordable. I highly recommend it!

We visited Locanda del Gatto Nero on the recommendation of friends, and I must say it was a delightful discovery! The restaurant has a warm and truly unique atmosphere, with attention to every detail: period pieces, rustic furnishings, and a wine room that alone is worth the visit. There's a small private parking lot adjacent to the restaurant, but it's easy to find a spot along the street, even though it's not very large. The menu is extensive and varied, with the option of choosing a fixed-price meat or fish tasting menu. We opted for the meat menu and were completely satisfied: generous dishes, well-presented, and authentic flavors. The wine cellar is also very interesting, extensive and featuring quality labels. There's also a pizzeria, which we'll definitely try next time. In short: excellent food, a unique atmosphere, and friendly staff. A place we'd recommend and will gladly return to!

Recommended... baked fish to try absolutely, fish appetizers both raw and house very good and abundant... personally I also recommend the Florentine Chianina that I often take to alternate with fish and it is of excellent quality really... perfect service always under the supervision of the owner and the prices definitely below the quality that this restaurant offers... try it and believe it...

La Locanda del Gatto Nero è un ristorante accogliente e ben arredato. Il servizio al tavolo è stato efficiente ed efficace, in particolare, il mâitre di sala che ci ha servito è stato egregiamente professionale. Menù con ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo.
