What a great find!!! The place was very cute, the staff was super friendly, and the food was truly excellent. The genovese was AMAZING!

We arrived at O' Funggiaro after calling to ask if dogs were welcome, and the answer was already a calm and natural yes. But from the moment we entered, we realized that hospitality is taken seriously here: even before thinking of us, the staff spontaneously took care of our dogs, immediately bringing bowls of water without us having to ask. When we discreetly asked if we could sit somewhere where we wouldn't disturb the dogs, the waiter responded with a phrase that perfectly captures the spirit of the place—dogs never disturb here—making us feel immediately welcome. We were there for lunch today, and the place was elegantly decorated for Christmas, with thoughtful, harmonious, and never overbearing decorations that made the atmosphere warm and welcoming without being overwhelming. The dining room is large, airy, and tidy, with well-spaced tables that ensure comfort and privacy, comfortable seating, and a simple yet elegant table setting—everything is designed to make guests feel at ease. The materials, wood, natural tones, and layout convey a sense of balance, tradition, and care, creating a relaxing and familiar atmosphere that invites you to enjoy a leisurely lunch. Even the outdoor spaces are well-organized and pleasant, nestled in a tranquil setting. The service is impeccable, delivered with attention, courtesy, and great professionalism, and the entire staff deserves sincere praise for their courtesy and helpfulness. We absolutely recommend the extraordinary mushroom scialatielli, which clearly demonstrate the freshness and quality of the ingredients. The burger we had for lunch today was excellent, as were the fried mushrooms, and the appetizer from the €35 menu chosen by Domenico is truly enormous and highly satisfying. The ingredients are top-quality, and the wine is also very good. Next time, we'll definitely try the fish, too. A complete experience in every way, we'll definitely be back.
