I went for lunch; I can't comment on the rooms. The appetizer was excellent and plentiful; the surprise was the bread cooked with beans. The first course (orecchiette with speck and turnip greens) was very good. We had a mixed roast with sublime lamb, an exceptional fillet; the sausage wasn't exactly impressive. The service was excellent, with friendly staff. I recommend this place.

Every time we come to Bonefro, we always make sure to eat at Locanda Del Buongustaio; we're never disappointed, either by the warm welcome or by the dishes made with regional products. We highly recommend it.

Bed and breakfast rooms plus inn. I've stayed at both the bed and breakfast and the adjacent trattoria at different times. Both are excellent experiences and excellent options for those wishing to visit the centuries-old beauty of Bonefro and Molise. As for food, they offer traditional local dishes with a touch of class and lightness that elevates the flavor. Despite being born here, I'd never been to this trattoria, which has been successfully operating for 20 years. The owner, Antonio, is kind, welcoming, and very helpful. The kitchen staff, a local woman, prepares excellent dishes inspired by authentic local tradition with skill, class, and flavor. All at reasonable, below-average prices, without any loss of quality or deliciousness.

We go to La locanda quite often, not for lodging, but for outstanding local cuisine. Their beef tagliata Is the very best we've found in Italy (we live here in southern Italy five months a year).

Pleasant, quiet, clean, a little basic, but it has everything you need. Antonio is very kind and hospitable. The food at his inn is excellent. The menu is very short, but that's fine, like eating at home. You don't have much choice, you just eat what's available! 🌺
