We go to La locanda quite often, not for lodging, but for outstanding local cuisine. Their beef tagliata Is the very best we've found in Italy (we live here in southern Italy five months a year).

Pleasant, quiet, clean, a little basic, but it has everything you need. Antonio is very kind and hospitable. The food at his inn is excellent. The menu is very short, but that's fine, like eating at home. You don't have much choice, you just eat what's available! 🌺

A bit awkward to get to but worth it (For women, forget the heels 😃). Good local cuisine and very polite staff. Not bad value for money either.

English: We spent three wonderful days in this really comfortable apartment in Bonefro. The village is really great for those looking for a place to unplug, as it is far from the most popular tourist itineraries but, given its location, by moving by car it is possible to visit Molise far and wide; in the square there is a pub where you can spend the evening in the cool, surrounded by the "classic" village life. The apartment, however, is located in the lower and oldest part of the village, where the signs of depopulation that has characterized these areas are evident: it can be reached via a small road on foot while the car can be left in a convenient parking lot not far away. We were welcomed by Antonio, the owner, very kind and available for every need. A significant plus is the presence of the inn on the ground floor, where it is possible to eat local cuisine (the meat is excellent!) at a very modest price and in a very familiar atmosphere.

I went to eat in this small, simple, authentic inn with a few tables and a menu consisting of a few courses.
We ate very well, in a relaxing atmosphere that is increasingly difficult to find. The young owner is kind and professional. The account is also from other times. In short, a real inn!
