We returned to this B&B and restaurant after a good 20 years, and it remains one of our favorite places! The hospitality was top-notch, as always, and it's a great place to relax! The garden is beautiful, and as always, the food is divine! The rooms are spacious and comfortable.

Siamo tornati a trovare Luca e la moglie dopo alcuni anni. Si pranza nell'accogliente giardino, sempre più verde e sempre più fresco. L'accoglienza è sempre speciale, anche fosse la prima volta, ci si sente da "amici". Le ragazze che servono sono cordiali, efficienti e come direbbe mia moglie inglese,....smart ! Venendo al menù, grande - seppur semplice - il piatto di straccetti di pollo "pulaster" (e qui tradisce la milanesità del proprietario) cotto a puntino, morbido e accompagnato da una deliziosa salsina al limone. Ottimi i tagliolini al burro di tartufo e la battuta di manzo. Si termina con due validi dessert: tiramisu e catalana. Prezzo nella media.

Enchanting place, surrounded by nature. Large, welcoming and comfortable rooms. Top cuisine, with first choice products and dishes cooked to perfection. But the real difference is made by "the 2": Luca and Nicla, impeccable hosts! Thank you! Everything perfect! We will definitely be back ☺️

11/03/2026: During my lunch visit, I found the place very welcoming, made even more pleasant by the crackling fireplace. The traditional dishes were very good and well-prepared. The service was attentive and friendly, if a bit slow.
05/02/2026: A typical Piacenza trattoria. Quality cured meats and perfect traditional first courses. A warm and welcoming atmosphere.

08/02/2026: La Lumaca is a rustic mountain restaurant with a wood-burning stove: the atmosphere is very warm. There's a beautiful panoramic view, with many birds passing by to retrieve the food the owners leave on the fence (sparrows, tits, etc.). The staff is very kind and friendly, as are the patrons. The charcuterie and cheese platter is very good; the polenta and cheese and the lasagna were delicious! We ended the lunch with cakes (which were delicious!) and a good coffee! The place is small, so reservations are recommended! They have books for children and board games! I recommend!
19/01/2026: A charming and informal place for a mountain snack. It's not a restaurant, but rather a place to stop for drinks and appetizers. The charcuterie boards are excellent, as is a wide selection of digestifs, including local ones. Being in the mountains, the best seating is outside, although there are also some inside. Recommended in summer for a pleasant day away from the city heat. The owner is friendly and helpful, although the other staff is more likely to rotate or be less experienced. Prices are average.
