Good restaurant in the center of Fiuggi. Courteous staff, excellent dishes, I recommend the fresh pasta which is homemade and also very good; the rest was also greatly appreciated. Correct price for what we ate.

It is always a pleasure to eat at this restaurant. Very welcoming and in keeping with the name. The cacio e pepe sagne are absolutely worth trying, the only flaw is the portion which should be at least double given its excellent goodness. The desserts are absolutely crazy, you can always find different ones. My favourite, among those I tried, was the toasted brioche bread served with must ice cream and quince sweets... SUBLIME

20/07/2025: Impeccable service and amazing food! A special mention goes to Alfredo, who would be an understatement to call simply "maître d'." His profound knowledge of wines and dishes is extraordinary: he could give culinary lessons to many self-styled experts. His knowledge and humanity are immediately striking. A true master of his craft.
07/07/2025: Excellent restaurant, known thanks to the program 4 Ristoranti di Borghese. We ate the lamb (winning dish of the episode) and the dessert. Everything was delicious. Courteous and helpful staff. Beautiful environment and ample parking. Perhaps, in my opinion, the prices of the dishes are slightly high, which is why I decided to give 4 stars as an overall rating. But the place is definitely worth a visit. Congratulations.

La Taverna del Castello

04/08/2025: A charming, high-quality restaurant. Located at the top of Fiuggi. The young waiters were very friendly. They spoke English and Spanish.
03/08/2025: Excellent, flavorful food, varied menu. We especially recommend the buffalo mozzarella fondue with porcini mushrooms, tomato meatballs, and zazzere with mushrooms and guanciale (flavorful, savory). Tiramen' cima all'amaretto: a less-than-exceptional take on tiramisu. Good value. Located in the historic center. Not easily accessible for those with limited mobility, due to the stairs without handrails and the steepness, being in the historic center of Fiuggi. Professional, fast service. €30 per person with excellent local Cesanese wine.
