DELICIOUS Italian fare. Amazing service. Located in the exceptionally beautiful San Gregorio da Sassola, a walled castle town that should be on your list to visit when you want a quiet alternative to Rome or when visiting UNESCO heritage sites in Tivoli.

Bella scoperta. Locale che rimane molto semplice, ma comunque ben curato. Ottimi i piatti del ristorante sia per qualità che per quantità. La pinza, inclusa in un menù dedicato con una buona dose di antipasti, è veramente ben fatta, leggera e ben farcita. Ovviamente è una trattoria quindi non aspettatevi fronzoli nei piatti, ma solo sostanza.

Excellent food, fixed menu at 25 euros, plentiful with two first courses! A series of excellent starters. All very good. A service with prompt, kind, attentive and helpful staff.

In gita da quelle parti ero arrivato alle ore 13 e mi sono fermato al primo locale che ho trovato, il caso ha voluto che capitassi in un 'ottimo ristorante , accolto con gentilezza ho potuto mangiare ottime pietanze ad un prezzo rispettabilissimo, credo che ci tornerò di nuovo.

09/01/2025: You can eat a bit of everything very well. The starters are excellent in terms of quality, variety and flavour. The first courses are also very good. The meats are also excellent. In addition to the grilled meats, I recommend the blueberry fillet with red wine reduction, really tasty. Finally the desserts: one better than the other! Excellent service! The environment is also good, with many rooms. Advised!
08/01/2025: This review is 1.5 years past due but my husband and I were just talking about how much we loved this place. We didn’t have a reservation but were able to get a table for 2 adults and an 8-month old as long as we were done by a certain time (for the guests who actually had a reservation). The food was amazing, the service was excellent. They were so accommodating and even made a special pasta for our baby, which was simple and delicious (I still think about it haha La Querida, please let me know how to make it ). We weren’t able to get desert bc our time was up, but if we ever make our way back, we will definitely return.

04/01/2025: Recommended by asking a local where to have lunch who suggested this place. A dated place but very charming. You are not getting fancy presentation but good food at reasonable price. I'd go back again if in the area.
04/01/2025: I didn't have time to photograph the first ones 🤤 Really excellent food, helpful and very friendly staff! For first courses we ate ravioli with butter and sage and amatriciana, excellent as were the second courses!!! Highly recommended!!!!!
