La Livornese In Taranto

The dirty table was cleaned after we pointed it out. Wrong order. The spicy sausage was missing from the Diavola. DIAVOLA, the word itself says it all. These aren't typical LIVORNESE mistakes.

Small but welcoming place, excellent food, specializing in pan pizza.

Pizza by the slice is the best. If you want to eat a good maritozzi, they are number one in the city.

Excellent, a restaurant from my childhood holidays. I think it's one of the few places that hasn't changed in 15 years, still that tasty pizza, staff that remain unchanged, congratulations to those who find this gem!

Very simple, but with pan pizzas that are out of this world! The appetizers are also excellent.

The atmosphere is intimate and well-maintained. It's worth coming here for the pan pizza: a feature not found in all pizzerias in Taranto. I recommend trying it. Unfortunately, the last time I visited, the pizza was a little undercooked near the base and center, but nothing that can't be fixed by asking the super-friendly and helpful staff.

A classic that never disappoints over the years. That's why, even if unfortunately only once or twice a year (since I'm from Bologna), my family and I always return! We'll always return! Highly recommended!
