We were greeted kindly and helpfully by the owner, even though it was past 3:00 PM. The food was good and plentiful. Definitely a great stop. See you from Modena

Amazing and authentic typical restaurant in the heart of Agrigento. Highly recommended are the macco, the bread balls, the chickpeas and the pasta with broad beans. We couldn't eat the rest because we were full, but it's certainly worth a second time.

During our trip to Sicily, we went to the Lanterna di Milena restaurant, recommended by friends, we had an excellent welcome first and foremost from the owner Mr. Lillo, very kind and welcoming, he treated us very well, making us enjoy excellent and plentiful local dishes. it was a very positive experience. We were there for lunch at Easter. There was a Sicilian menu that left nothing to be desired. Only two soups - very tasty. Then various antipasti were served - meatballs in tomato sauce, frittata, cheese, artichokes, olives, fresh ricotta. The taste divine. Then came various gratinated noodles - delicious. The main course was coarse spicy sausages baked in paper, lamb with potatoes and pork knuckle. The meat was buttery soft and baked with fennel etc. At the end there was fresh fruit and filled rolls. The staff very attentive and very well organized. There was no unnecessary waiting time and the information about the diabetics among us was also taken into account. A pleasant surprise at the checkout, €45 per person and a coffee or grappa from the house, whichever one wanted. I can recommend the restaurant with a clear conscience!!!
