La Grotta del Buono In Aversa

We were here on Saturday, October 11th. There were six of us, and besides being surprised by the quality of the food, we were also impressed by the woman who served us: Maria. She was very kind to us, professional, and super helpful. This woman is one more reason to come back!

We called on a Saturday evening to reserve a spot for 9:30 PM. They confirmed it over the phone, but when we arrived at the pizzeria, things went differently. 🤗. In the end, it was as if we'd been called in order of arrival. The people at the entrance were clearly struggling to welcome customers, visibly panicked. Aside from the initial difficulty, the atmosphere was beautiful. The slow service, I think, was due to the number of customers. Unfortunately, the appetizers and pizza weren't very good. It was a shame because the location really deserves a lot. The prices were very fair: 1 appetizer for two people and two pizzas were 43 euros. I'd go back just out of curiosity and to know that everything has improved.

I went there on Saturday, August 30th for my name day. We had a reservation for 9:00 PM, and despite the place being packed, we were shown to our table right away. A few minutes later, we received our drinks and ordered. We had a cuoppo... everything was good, well-fried and dry, but similar to the large macaroni frittatas. If you order pizzas, you're already full, but overall, it was very good. Then we had two pizzas: a Margherita DOP and an Incazzata Nera, and a sandwich my daughter made with baked potatoes. Service was quick despite the crowds, and the staff was kind and professional. The price was average. At around 10:30 PM, we were headed home. I must say, some of the reviews were putting me off, but the evening was a pleasant surprise.

Very good pizza, with thoughtful and unique pizza options in a contemporary style with a high crust. I recommend the fried appetizers, especially the fried pasta. Outside, there's a very spacious courtyard, suitable for large groups; I was there with a group of over 50 people, and we did a sort of pizza tour, sampling different flavors.

We dined in the outdoor garden on Saturday evening. The atmosphere was very refined, the pizzas excellent, but the service was a bit slow and lacking in synchronization between the pizzas and appetizers.

The place is very nice, with a huge outdoor garden that's perfect for summer evenings. They make excellent pizza, with the right dough, tasty, and very well-topped, perfect for those who don't have any food intolerances. The service isn't very perceptive; I've had to send pizza back several times, even though I'd asked for it without dairy and without spicy food. Never mind, around here they're not yet very knowledgeable about food issues.
