La Grotta del Buono In Aversa

The location is in the historic center of Aversa, in Corso Bersaglieri 23 a few steps from Via Roma so impossible to reach by car that must be parked nearby. I was invited on Saturday evening by friends to taste pizza in this location. A very particular place, it is located in an old patronal courtyard structured between rustic and modern but also simple and elegant, all in a cave for storing wine. There is also a large outdoor garden, beautiful and well-kept, where in the summer you can spend beautiful evenings outdoors. The staff is kind and helpful but needs to be a little more careful not to forget any request made by the customer. The menu is very large, you can choose whether to eat pizza, a sandwich or a first course. Pizza with light dough, thin, but a little burnt on the bottom. Rating 6.5 Waiting times almost average. I recommend booking especially on weekends.

Visiting day: Sunday, Mother's Day. By reservation at 1.30pm. The place was full upon arrival but we were served promptly and kindly and the times were short, despite it being fully booked. Good fried food, warm arrivals. Pizza with leavened dough, rolled out thinly. It was necessary to ask to redo a pizza because it was burnt on the bottom but, in general, they were all burnt. The one made again was cooked perfectly: I recommend paying attention to this detail, it is better to wait 5 minutes more and have a perfectly cooked product. Impeccable service.

The good cave is a certainty as always, good pizzas, easily digestible, with attentive and courteous service. The outdoor garden with lemon trees completes this beautiful picture. Advised
