27/10/2023: Cordial staff (who I later learned was the owner) seated me even though it was close to lunch ending time, and I had the amazing 'little fishes from the lake' lunch dish. I devoured it, even though I rarely each whole anchovies. The espresso hit the spot, as I had done the Castle Vezio hike that morning and needed the boost and good food. Recommended by our wonderful hotel, the Nilus Restaurant, Varenna, right on the water of Lake Como, is definitely a place to return to. Enjoy!

22/10/2023: We loved the food - pasta was super! The staff are very nice and great customer service. Views of the lake included! Definitely must try.
