La Golosona Pizzeria In Lecce

This wasn't what I expected. After my initial visit, I expected a perfect pizza. The pizza is baked in a wood-fired oven. The atmosphere was pleasant. We ordered takeout. The dishes were prepared quickly, and the service was very friendly. After tasting the first pizza (Capricciosa), it turned out to have a distinct... fishy flavor that practically dominated everything else. The pizza was certainly fresh, and the seafood ingredients were probably added by accident. The Bralesaola, on the other hand, was dominated by the sharp flavor of the cheese, which was of good quality. But the bresaola wasn't noticeable. They certainly don't serve bad pizza there, but expectations were much higher. And the Capricciosa certainly shouldn't have a strong fishy aftertaste. In any case, if you're hungry, feel free to come in and try it. Don't expect fireworks, though.
