La Gnoccata In Trento

We had a great time, generous portions, homemade tagliatelle, excellent quality meat, friendly service, honest price!

I only had a cappuccino after the guided tour of the gorge. The restaurant is right across the street. Even though I didn't sit down to eat, I was served with kindness, which I didn't notice when I returned my cup to the counter or when I left. Still, it's a pleasant place and a really beautiful garden.

A pleasant stop before visiting the Ponte Alto Gorge. In addition to the classic platters of tigelle and gnocco fritto, the excellent zuppa inglese (trifle) is a must-try for dessert.

Excellent cuisine and an authentic atmosphere just outside Trento. Good quality, and the final price is reasonable, around €50 per person. ​We mainly ordered appetizers: tigelle, fried gnocchi, mixed cured meats and cheeses, and giardiniera. We also shared a first course (pumpkin tortelli) and a portion of tripe. We drank two liters of good house red wine and a coffee to finish. ​I highly recommend everything I tried. The staff was very kind and helpful. ​In winter, I recommend booking (in summer, there are plenty of seats outside).

L'Orrido di Ponte Alto is in a prime location. Excellent food (the Vicenza-style liver received nothing but praise) and fast service.

Very friendly service. You sit under large parasols, but unfortunately, the heat builds up there in the evenings, and it's very warm. Be sure to spray yourself with mosquito repellent! The tortelloni (€14) were excellent. And the fresh white bread with grated cheese was also great. Coperto €1.70 I wanted to have "Bonet alla panna" for dessert, but unfortunately, they ran out of cream. The drink prices are low: half a liter of bottled water costs only €1.50! Someone could pick up the trash around the building; it really doesn't look nice or inviting. There's a lot of trash, especially in the on-site parking lot!! Paper placemats and bread bags produce a lot of waste, which could be avoided: no one needs placemats, and there are baskets for bread. After climbing the ravine, this restaurant awaits you with typical Emilian dishes. Excellent cured meats, nice place.

After the waterfalls we stopped, the prices are a bit high, the platter a little sparse without cheeses included and the tigelle and gnocco are limited, the service is friendly but it could be better.
